ASMR Sorting 1980s Newspapers (Heaps!) • No Talking

A lovely lady named Chris, whom I met on the wild wild Internet, gifted me sixty 1980s newspapers. I couldn't believe my luck. These Belgian newspapers date back to 1985 and 1986, the years in which CDs were first introduced, the Rainbow Warrior ship sank, and Michael Jordan set a 63-point record in a basketball game.
Even though the newspapers have turned yellow due to oxidation, they are still in excellent condition.
It somehow felt oddly comforting, flipping through these 35+-year old newspapers, reading about explosions, storms, wars and nuclear disasters, in the knowledge that, despite all these catastrophes, the world is still turning. We are still here. Unfortunately battling the same challenges as before, but still, there's the hope we'll get through the next couple of decades, too.
You'll see me sort all these newspapers by date. Giving each issue the attention it deserves.
