When I was a child at school & it was quiet time in class to get on with reading I thought I was just weird because I found the paper rustling & page turning sounds soothing 😅

Not weird at all, it's a gift. 🙂 We're the lucky ones! Thanks for sharing, Celine. 🤗

Guess what I'm going to do tonight before bed...Yes, I'm going to spend the evening listening to water damaged National Geographic magazines being looked through by my favorite ASMRtist. Thank you. :)

The sound is better in water damaged pages 😊👍 I love your videos. Sometime I would love to see you read a bedtime story 😊

I can't usually tolerate water damaged page turning videos; yours is not only tolerable but mega tingly. 😍😃

Hey, Super Patrice! 👋🏻 ❤ I'm glad this video didn't trigger any negative responses. 🙂 Do you usually dislike water-damaged paper sounds because the sounds are too harsh/sharp? Or is there another reason?
@patricedoten578313 сағат бұрын
@PoisabloomASMR sometimes too sharp, but often just too much. Most water-damaged vids sound to me like a cacophony rather than a harmony. Other people like them a lot, though. It's interesting how differently we react to things.

I understand. The comment section is always a fertile soil for me to learn about how ASMR videos work for people. We are a very heterogenous tribe and everybody has a different connection to ASMR videos.

THANK YOU!! I finally learned from your channel that this THING is called ASMR! Ever since I was a child, there were certain sounds, especially when hanging out somewhere close to my mom, that would create some kind of pleasurable brain zap that causes the most gentle peacefulness! Thanks to you I now know that this thing is biological, I am not crazy, and you do it so amazingly! I guess it really is true that anything you can think of has an audience on the internet. Just saying thanks!

Hey there, Shane! 👋🏻 Welcome to the wonderful ASMR community. You're definitely not crazy or abnormal. You're part of the small percentage of the population that gets to experience the "tingles" sensation; you know, like feeling sparks in your brain or shivers down your spine. It's pretty marvellous. I wish more people could get to experience this pleasurable feeling, as it helps with sleep and relaxation. And what's more, it's accessible without a doctor's prescription. 👍🏻 Have fun exploring the plethora of ASMR videos that are out there! 🙂
