I am pretty sure this is the case also for co-parenting, when a man in a relationship decides to have a child with another woman (who also may have her own relationship) using either traditional method or a laboratory method, and then those two sign an agreement and then will rise a kid sharing expenses and time, and discussing parenting issues, school choice, leisure choice, etc. I just don't believe this man's partner/girlfriend will be able to deal with this new family that was created after their relationship started, and the man is delusional if he believes it can't affect his relationship.
