That's one way that youtubers and youtube reactors make money🤓 If youtube reactors and youtubers get a certain amount of subscribers then advertisers will just let them pump out video after video because they know that a subscriber will eventually watch h one of their video and see their advertisement🤓 It's a buisness

Poison was one of those hair metal bands along with bands like Motley Crue, Warrant and Whitesnake that were very popular in the 80s. This was at the time that many metal bands started making acoustic songs in the late 80s/early 90s.

The lead singer's name is Brett Michaels. He has done some reality TV and podcasts since the band ended. Yes, smashing guitars on stage is a thing in rock. It's not very common, since guitars can be crazy expensive, but it's well known enough that it's a very "rock and roll" thing to do. This song was their big hit and obviously it's a ballad, but if you wanna hear something a bit more upbeat, check out "Nothin' But a Good Time" and "Unskinny Bop". Those 3 are probably their most well known songs.

They filmed the video in two places, Madison and Green Bay Wisconsin. I was at the Madison show and it was my first ever concert. 1988! So, I’m in the crowd somewhere! Poison has a lot of faster upbeat songs but this song and I Won’t Forget You are their best ballads. As other have said, watch Talk Dirty To Me, I Want Action, Nothing but a Good Time and a few others are just pure fun arena rock. They still put on a hell of a show.

U r correct... 'Every rose has its thorn' by Poison is a power ballad w/ a country music influence, being a breakup song from 1988 ... It became Poison's only #1 hit single, inspired by singer Bret Michaels' breakup w/ a gf. Poison is a fun rock band to get into... even though they get crap for being an '80's hair band'... Some of their rockin' songs include: 'Unskinny bop'... ''Nothin' but a good time'' ... 'Talk dirty to me'... 'Ride the wind'... Poison was formed in Pennsylvania in the early 80's and relocated to Los Angeles, California and became part of the 'glam rock' scene there... Bret Michaels (vocals), Bobby Dall (bass) and Rikki Rocket (drums) were soon joined by C.C. DeVille (guitar) and perfectly the 'trashy' glam image that was seen on the cover of their 1986 debut album 'Look what the cat dragged in'... (People assumed that the band members were women because they wore a lot of makeup and hairspray) Despite being critically despised, Poison shot up in popularity by 1987 and the first album sold 3x platinum in the US... 2nd album 'Open up and say ahh!' was a bigger hit in 1988 and sold 5x platinum w/ a #1 single 'Every rose has its thorn'... Poison were headlining arenas and were the ultimate party rock band of the 80's. However, the band wanted to be taken seriously... Poison ditched the makeup and released 3rd album 'Flesh & blood'... and it sold 3x platinum... But guitarist C.C. DeVille was becoming unpredictable due to drug addiction and was fired in 1991 after a disastrous live performance on MTV. Nirvana and the 90's grunge scene took over and Poison quickly became old news by 1992... Poison tried to rejuvenate their career w/ new guitarist Richie Kotzen and 4th album 'Native tongue' in 1993... it sold gold but Richie Kotzen was soon fired after he had an affair w/ drummer Rikki Rocket's then-fiancée... By 1995, Poison took a break from the scene. In 1999, Poison reunited w/ guitarist C.C. DeVille and saw their popularity rise again... They haven't released any new music since 2002 but still tour on their catalog of music. Singer Bret Michaels also tours often as a solo singer.

Hey mia! I recently saw one of your reaction videos and I'm glad I discovered your channel. A lot of those 80-90s songs I went to in person as a young man. I saw your Poison reaction and have another suggestion for you that's probably more your preferred taste in rock. Check out Poisons "Talk dirty" video. It's much less a ballad and more reflective of the big hair band rock geandra of the 90s.

It's funny you say that he has an "accent", because I get that too when listening to Stone Temple Pilots, but you would never guess Scott Weiland was an LA kid who was the quarterback and captain of his high school football team. About as California jock as it gets, yet he sounded like he was straight from Tennessee or Kentucky. I think this era simply had men who were more professionally trained to sing a certain way. There wasn't always an attempt to sound "sweet" or even hit high notes all the time. Please listen to Stone Temple Pilots, Interstate Love Song. You'll think "country" again, but it's smooth as hell, just like everything they do. He's even wearing a cowboy hat in the video, just to throw you further into the "country" confusion. Lol.

I actually went with some guys from work when I was in my teens to see Ratt and Poison (Ratt Poison;) in concert. Not my proudest moment, although I did like a few Ratt songs. Both bands put on a good show, and there were a LOT of hot girls there in zebra and cheetah-print tights ;) This song isn't terrible (just kind of draggy/clumsy and obvious) but Poison were essentially a better version of truly awful glam-metal copycat bands like ...Warrant. Ugh.

Definitely react to “Cherrie Pie” Mia, by Warrant. The video is a riot, and the song is catchy as hell. It was a commercial success for Warrant, even though the band hated that song.
