Poison Ivy (my 300th upload somehow)

It is probably fitting, somehow, that my 300th upload is of an October ride I forgot to post. It is now March and these same trees that were so busy pushing their old leaves out into the wind are now pushing buds out into the sunshine. After a tough winter's riding in the biting cold, the battery in my Bug Smasher is dead. I'm home listening to the seed-scattering spring wind howling and blustering. I don't believe a word of it. Summer's coming and will not be deterred. I will have a new battery soon. There will be bugs to smash and ramblings to have. See you on the road.

Absolutely right about New England roads! It is a whole other manner of driving! I am very allergic to poison ivy! Typically end up seeing a doctor for a shot. It really sucks!

October for us (Texas) it's still usually 90+ degrees, minimal rain. There are however sometimes surprise cool downs near the end of Oct. where the temps get down in to the 40's.

We are way past the novelty of "different food" here in the UK.. Multiculturalism has failed big time! Anyway, enjoy your banter and rides. I own a M8 Low Rider 107. Great motorcycles if a little lacking in character compared to the Dyna version. Thanks.

I don't think I've been on a bike newer than 2009 haha. One of these days I'll check one out! I've been on 3 different Low Riders, '05, '07, & my '09. The '05 was 88 cubic inch I think, and revved higher. The '07 was similar in every way to mine. but was 40 lbs heavier for some reason. My friend and I compared stat sheets but couldn't figure out why his '07 weighed more. I think the Low Rider is my favorite H-D platform. Not sure what I'd get if mine got totalled. Probably another Low Rider haha. Have a great day man!

@@FrankSammataro-jl7eb Their link to the traffic accident reports was pretty interesting. I lived in Quincy for awhile and was surprised there weren't more pedestrian fatalities honestly. The number of very close-calls with pedestrians is crazy!
