I don't know, Poison and Fire seems like legit coverage in this meta, not just spice. Maybe with Dazzling Gleam instead of Leaf Storm as the nuke, the matchup against dragons can be improved and Roserade can cover the whole trio of Fairies, Dragons, and Steels that are basically the whole meta.

It's definitely possible! I was just sick of waterfall gyarados, so I ran the leaf storm 😅

Nice to see PJ Roserade in ML! I was having a blast in ULPC recently with Flygon lead, Roserade with Poison Jab, and Kanto Muk.

I have a hundo Flygon, so it would be fun to use, but there is literally no reason not to use Garchomp instead of Flygon because they have the same moves, unless you run them both Flygon is kinda pointless.

@@craigatkinson8418 I forgot about dragon claw to be fair, but still, Flygon has to hit 3 dragon claws on any of the other dragons to kill them. It just doesn't have the stats to compete in the master league.

Question, does cresselia with grass knot and future sight over moonblast works any good in the ultra league? Cuz like, future sight does a LOT more damage than moonblast, including that typing boost, and moonblast barely does anything to giratina-A (it didn't do much in my case, neither to most dragon types)

Problem with people who make the opponent's crash is still existing, it happend to me thrice today that I cannot do anything but I see the "select pokemon" screen while my lead appears to me to be alive, just after the opponent casted a charged move.

Tried a modified version of this team, and it's serving me well so far. The changes are: - Conkeldurr instead of Machamp - Metagross instead of Excadrill - Sludge Bomb on Roserade instead of Leaf Storm for wider coverage.

Ive been running tangrowth ironically enough due too the same problem. Been seeing a lot of Waterfall Garys in the lead. I actually have a roserade built and was planning on using the move set of weatherball/sludge bomb this way it can put work in against Dnite etc... obviously it would be trouble if you saw a swampert however when swamperts see roserade in the lead they will most likely switch out anyway right?

Nice! I think sludge could work fairly well! Gleam is a bit expensive for my taste, at least with poison jab, but could be worth a shot!

@@HomeSliceHenry yeah i agree gleem takes a lot of energy and generally the opponent will know whats coming and shield it anyway unless you bait which is risky.

Finally got a hundo terrakion well even better a shundo its my 3rd shundo legendary. Articuno palkia and now terrakion. Brought it too 40 and double moved it of course definitely not bringing it too L50 anytime soon lol. Have the xls but not worthy investment for L50 its typing and fast move unfortunate

I’m really confused with the max cp stuff. If a Pokémon’s max cap is 2900, does that pretty much mean all their stats are worse than a Pokémon with 3500 cp? You would just want to use Pokémon with really high cp

Typically, yep! In this case, roserades unique typing and moveset allowed me to have some decent success, despite the low cp

Battle league is fake fake fake, today another example, first two sets 5-0 4-1. Next three sets 1-4 1-4 0-5 with the same two teams. Hard counters every time even the first two sets. Then the algorithm knew it had to be 3 hard counters so it's impossible to win. Just playing for stardust. Pathetic broken game
