I was playing crook/atlatl pyg when I ran into a diamond burn vendor and found Burning Bird, Burning Weights and Burning ATM (A MEDIUM PROPERTY) , so I decided to pivot cuz why not. I then proceeded to find a second burn vendor with burning booby trap and a burning snowglobe (ALSO a medium property). With those 5 burning enchanted items, I had space for one more small item and capstoned the build with a shielded Yoyo. I don't think I can ever do that again.

Here's a message I sent to my friend. I was initially running roughly the same build here (vineyard bird bushel etc) and my final build ended up being bird, bushel, fiery pyg gym, fiery robe and fiery caltrops. "Easily my hardest to counter build I've ever had, and my biggest pivot nearly unkillable, would only be countered by slow hard hitting items and long freezes initially it was a fire pivot so that caltrops fire would scale every time I heal or shield or pig gym went off, but then I got that "if you have 1 weapon it has lifesteal" and "whenever you shield your weapons gain damage" and suddenly I wished everything was shield instead of fire coz the fire was useless but my lifesteal caltrops were hitting over 500 every time they used any item and couldn't be frozen."

I had a similar situation but on Vanessa. Burn keg, burn pirate ship, burn ships wheel (if server didn’t crash and it lost the burn property). Still ended up proccing the diamond keg within a couple seconds with max crit, one hitting anyone.

When the boots upgrade the landscraper to diamond, it loses its previously added poison buff; it resets back from 8 to 3 after the upgrade, I don't think this is intended , but let me know what you guys think

yeah I've seen that happen multiple times. I remember Kripp's Ice Snowglobe build had that problem too when he upgraded his freeze items they lost the buff

I think it's because when an item upgrades it is considered a different item like when a minion is reborn in battlegrounds, but I hope they fix that it feels so crappy to lose on sell enchantments from curio items

This is now by far my favorite build ever! I loved every part of it. The synergies between the shield and heal items alone were good enough to win the whole game even with the golf club instead of the poison!

The amount of Flexibility I've seen is so insane. Saw a dude running a Pacifist Pyg build who got 150,000 Shielding by the end of his final fight. His entire strat was to just outlast people in the sandstorm. He never dealt a single point of damage throughout his entire run and it was so fun to watch.

Kripp. Make sure to report a bug - upgrading the Landscrapper removed the bonus poison given by spider and extract. It went back to 3 from base enhancement

18:53 you say bushel isn't a good build, but I think it's one of the strongest in the whole game. The full build (left to right) is Bird, YoYo, Weights, Bushel, Vineyard, then any 1 slot item. Your main play from there is getting Sharp Corners skill (When you shield, your weapons gain +20 dmg). That build takes down just about anything. It's also really easy, as the only things you need to upgrade is the bushel (more armor per heal proc) and weights (more healing/dmg scaling per weight cast). With Vineyard, every item use causes a heal, which causes a shield with bushel proc, which causes +20dmg from weights, and also the heal causes a weights charge. When bird fires (next to yoyo) that's 6 triggers of that chain. Within 3-6 seconds of a fight, you are sitting at ~6k shield and a yoyo that is at 200-400 dmg, and is triggering 6x every bird, and every 1 second with weights literally firing every second. The build has insane shielding, insane healing, and insane burst damage, AND it scales the longer the fight goes. Enchants and the last item is where you can get creative. Giving Yoyo heal is nuts. Giving bird radiant is solid. Giving Vineyard haste is bonkers. I've given vineyard freeze on a lucky freeze shop and the build was perma-freeze. The last item can be stuff like battery on the bird (and mirror-imaging the ordering above), Metrognome is crazy, but at the worst just go with another heal item to proc the chain. I hated seeing you pass on the weights early, because this build is crazy. I hope you try it out on your next pig game. I can almost force this build, and going infinite in ranked with it is so easy. I'm only saying all this now, because people are talking about nerfing the bird, so it's not likely to survive much longer. Other iterations of this build is when you replace apples with the "when you use an item, shield" properties. Or you go tents with more healing items. Both of these are worse than this build here, but if you can get damage scaling on an enchant (say fire or poison on vineyard), then you don't need the yoyo for dmg (which is important for beating poison builds, you can't just go pure tank or you lose to those), and then you can replace weights and the 1-slot item with a 3-slot property.

@calebwilliams586 Yeah, the whole thing, his was better. I wish I could remember exactly what I had, but what I've learned about how the game offers items is it tries to offer items that will synergize with your board AND items in the stash. I've also noticed that if it offers me a fire skill in the beginning, it's never long until I just get one even if I don't pick the related skill. So, for example, if you want to increase your odds of finding poison, you should always fight enemies that drop poison items, then from there you can kinda just lean in that direction. There's a lot I like and dislike about this game lol

Was really surprised @44:25 that the poison robe would work like that, I feel like on other items, regardless of their passive aspect (like do X when Y happens), if they have a cooldown then the enchant applies to the cooldown part of the item. Was expecting it to give poison 3 on a 6 second cooldown 😅 At least I've only experienced it with Dooly items like Aiden, LEDs and Duct Tape- Pyg items just built different.

That bird was cracked. Multicast is cool and all, but getting that shield on top to help proc Toxic Robe was wild. If you were up against a Singularity (and if it could go off in time) that would have been an issue.

I pretty a pretty crazy poison pyg build about a week ago: Early pawn shop with decent upgrade luck to diamond, all econ so it had insane value by the end + closed sign for regen double to adjacent items value + other value boosting items. I had 35k health and 3k regen per second at the end.. Was winning dealing zero damage in sandstorm against pretty powerful builds, some went on a LOOONG time. 2nd last day i got soul ring , which deals poison equal to regen.. so yea.. 3000 poison. Has a long cooldown, 8 sec. So most i got it off was 2, for 6k poison per second, little more than you poison pig hehe. Actually did this build twice. Pretty rare to get soul ring since it's not a pygmalien item, but yea somehow it showed up 2nd time i did the build late game too. I also enchanted it the 2nd run.. Which doesn't update the description - bugged.. But it doubles it effect. But 2nd run i only had like 1200 regen so was still weaker than first.. Imagine i got that first run, 6k poison in 8 seconds or less haha.

I had a similar off-champ build on Pyg with Atlatl, Crook and *Flamethrower.* Got Fire on my Atlatl for ~300dmg/~300Firedmg and the Flamethrower had ~300dmg/~900Firedmg with a CD of 2s (thanks to Atlatl with Metronome!!) It was a weird Pyg build but so awesome it beat a full-shield Pyg with ease. Actually it beat almost everything but Freeze with ease. 1500 Fire stacking every 2 seconds was wild.

You may have gotten the world first in d3 but I hate to break it to ya. I bought a pair of poison boots from the poison vendor which made all my items toxic when they were upgraded by the boots. I had a toxic vineyard, bird, yoyo and hogwash. I done it the day after the patch. I've never seen a pig build stack poison so fast as the one mine did. I don't think my defenses were as good as yours though as hogwash and in combat hp scaling. And I've actually seen a couple since I had my run. But the world first is pretty debatable depending on when you recorded. Edit: The toxic robe is pretty insane. I think you may have surpassed my poison stacking speed.

It's a bug with the buffs they sometimes reset when you level an item

I've played plenty of Vanessa builds that would demolish this build since infinite DPS is very possible with her. And Vanessa poison builds obviously scale way better than this. Pretty interesting that you got the right items to make a solid poison build on pyg though. This build scales very well, but anything that can kill you in the first 10 seconds will steamroll this still.
