Another fun Rama build is with Demeter on special with the Daedalus hammer for extra special shots, artic blast, and killing freeze. Poison Rama and Demeter Rama is how I first cleared 32 heat, so these builds have a special place in my heart.

Pally can barerly passed Thesseus 2 out of 10 with more than 70% health. Extreme measure 4 would be problematic with his questionable decission....

Extreme Measure 4 + Elite packs + Armour perks+ 7 min deadline (basically freebies) is my prefered way of playing all runs now too. It changes the enemies behavior and moveset to make it more challenge while not adding annoyance like more life/no heal/ less purchase from merchant/ mirror cap/ Null 2 hits ,etc. It is also a good strat to test the true viability of a weapon. (Especially Hades being a real challenging fight instead of pushover.) 40% speed is actually unfair for many slower weapons. 100% damage makes the run too punishing for none strong range weapon.

ugh, yes, that is the worst feeling. whenever I've got Olympians favor, God's pride, and even a keepsake on, then I still see a common boon. I'm like why do you still hate me after all those offerings?

I think one thing good about Rama is you're not one trick pony to rely on one source of damage. So you can apply quick hangover while doing decent damage with your attack too. Solves the problem of hangover damage being limited. Also it triggers bonus damage on 3 target hangover pretty well compare to other hangover build that focus on quick hits only.

Not sure If anyone said this one yet, But Rama with Ares and Aphro duo gets spicy with a doom build. Was hitting hades with sustained 1800 doom procs the whole fight. Mind you I got god boons lol

I think the biggest advantage in a Rama run with putting Hangover on the special is that you get your call much faster than you would if you were to use the other popular/good options i.e. zues, aphro, ares

Man I only just realized at 40:56 that the rama damage-spread spreads the poison damage out, additional ticks of '3' and '4' on every poisoned enemy *per poisoned enemy*... it seems crazy that you can just, like, get the base setup whenever you want with 1 dionysus boon and 1 hammer, practically right at the start

Yeah, it's pretty great! You actually don't even need the hammer, though it is nice to have more arrows

I think I prefer Artemis on attack + duo boon. The reason is that I think doing special to apply target > attack to apply weak > Special to apply more hungover feels a little... I dunno it puts things kind of in the wrong order? Like on Chiron this setup is perfect, but on Rama it's a little backwards. With Artemis on attack you apply hangover and increased crit chance with the special and then you do extra damage. Feels a bit smoother to me.

After watching you and Haelian with the Eris rail, I gave it a shot. I got the Rocket Bomb and Triple Special with Aprodite on it. The damage up close was insane.

I just tried this exact build last night! The poison seemed to be underwhelming, but I did get pretty unlucky on boons. Biggest issue though was just how long Rama takes to fire every time. I'm not sure how to set up shots without being hit. Theseus and Asterius got me.

At 19:10 not to backseat game too har but Ares may have been a better choice since you had Ares’ keepsake. It still affects the rarity of his boons even though the guaranteed ares boon has already been used up (as far as I know)

Also around min20 when you were talking about filling your cast slot, I completely disagree(agree with you) especially if you 1) don't plan on using the cast much and 2) already have an aphro boon so it's not unlocking any new duos. In fact it can hurt you because it removes a slot a different God could go into to enable more duos. I heavily favor leaving slots open when I'm not focusing on them so I can dump extra gods into them to enable powerful duos.

Yeah, it's certainly a discussion worth having, but I'm not sure how big a difference it makes... basically I'm always hoping to get the boon I REALLY want as early as possible.

If Rama's attack works like Arthur's the charge should be faster, faster attack on Arthur is crazy good you get big chunky damage while attacking like usual sword lol.

This was how I just got my first 32heat finish as well. I tried it with poseidon cast on achilles spear since that was one of my better builds on lower heat, but it took a bit too much damage. I dont know why people bad mouth rama so much. The attack is slower, but you dont have to power shot it every time and it does insane amounts of damage. Hera bow is more fun, but I struggle with collecting cast stones while dodging attacks. Chiron bow seems really strong, but I dont like getting stuck in special animation.

I'd grab the coin purse and just save your money through the whole run. You can take golden touch as well. Poseidon and chaos both have boons that boost your money gains.
