15 years ago guys and girls, 15 years ago. Thats when youtube was first getting its legs. When all you could find was good music and cars illegally racing all over the place, plus just about every movie ever made then. And here we still are 2022 enjoying the shit of this song. Congrats, you wanted to be here.

When you read this /I will not be the same I have let my true form show This is my last/lost in all my guilt For letting you fall / understand it wasn't me But I can't dream without showing intentions As I ask these questions/where were you Now I can't see through your eyes I remember the day the sun went out It halted all progression with all it's beauty It just sacrificed/we fell apart Sincerely yours I've disowned you Sincerely yours I've disowned us

First of all the song it great, steady, nice pace, but all the people saying that they sounded rough or unkept, its a lot of emotion! Second of all, if you listen to anything past when they came out in the genre you could see that a lot of bands got influenced by them. Third and lastly, they set the tone for a lot of bands ahead of them in that genre. Great Band. Great Band.

+John David Alanis Only thing off is they're slightly out of tune. No fucks are given on this day, though. If you don't want to hear dirty Hardcore, then you're a fucktard who should run along back to whatever Atreyu-inspired band is popular with kids today.

I was in a small metalcore band that played with these guys back in around 99-00 around the Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL regions. They've always had that rough sound about them. A little tidbit, while they were an influence to many who came after them, one of the guitarists (I believe his name is Ryan) was a big fan of the Deftones. I just find it funny that whether people like the Deftones or not, it cannot be denied that they were a massive influence on a large number of musicians. Note: Not really sure why I brought up the Deftones thing. It's just one of the only things I remember talking about with some of those guys. lol

I listen to all types of music from folk to hip hop, hardcore to classical composers, and I have to say there is a special place for PTW in collection. I hardly listen to hardcore, nu-metal, screamo, or whatever you peps call it these days. They might not the most technically gifted band around, but the passion and emotion is there and I can feel it when I listen to them. All that matters imo.

I would give 10 years off my life to relive just some of those shows especially the hopesfall show at emos in austin where the singer kneeled on the audience while singing end of an era. so epic

PTW are grown ass men & awesome musicians. at this point in their career im sure they wanted to explore that musicianship rather than re-create T.O.O.D., D.M.T.H.G.F., T.F.T.R. or Y.C.B.Y. I see Versions as PTW keeping that honesty that they did in previous albums, just in a different way.
