Here's an updated version of this video: Gen 8: the new pokémon were Sneasler and Overqwil, introduced in Leyends Arceus (oh excuse me, Arkoos). The new moves were Barb Barrage, the signature move of Hisuian Qwilfish and Overqwil with 60 BP and 100 ac with a 30% to poison, that doubles its BP if the target has a status condicion. In gen 9 its probability to poison was increased to 50, its PPs were reduces to 10, and it now doubles its power if the target is poisoned or badly poisoned. And then there's Dire claw which is the signature move of Sneasler with 60 BP and 100 acc that has an increased critical hit ratio, and has a 50% to either paralize, poison or drowsy the target. Now in gen 9 its BP was increased to 80 but now it doesn't have high chances to do critical hits. Gen 9: the new pokémon were Grafaiai, Revavroom, Glimmora, Clodsire, Iron Moth and the three heroes of Kitakami Okidogi, Munkidogi and Fezandipiti. Off these, Clodsire would go on to make the biggest impact. The new moves are Noxius Torque with 100 BP and 100 acc which is for the Navi Starmobile. And the other one is Mortal spin, the signature move of Glimmora with 30 BP and 100 acc which is a clone of Rapid spin. The specialist is Atticus, the boss of Team Star's poison crew the Navi Squad. I’ve always felt like poison being super effective against water would make sense, but it’s a fairly balanced type, being one of the best defensive types in the game and having important immunities and attributes.

For me that Poison isn't super effective against Fighting I found weird. Poisoning a fighter is kinda like their weakness, its a dirty move, but it would work well. Being a super fighter against someone who plays dirty (poison), wouldn't end well.

i’ve always thought that poison types should have specific moves tailored to be super effective against certain types for example have a poison move called fever sting 60 damage it’s super effective against bug an metal types an will either cause confusion burn or poison.15% chance of secondary effects occurring venom darts 40 poison move that hits fighting pokémon for super effective damage also hits with double power if the target is caught switching out. will poison. venom shot does 65 damage Power doubles if the user was attacked first. if this hits a psychic type it may badly poison.

Mmm, I mean I know you like the Type but not really lol. Medically; Water is in fact the 1st _go to solution_ to remedy venomation. I think it's defensive prowesses vs Fighting, Fairy, Grass & Bug plus of course nominal immunity to getting poisoned themselves lend them a pretty strong position. Plus, Toxicroak is a bit of a demon itself.

Plot twist: Grunty boy just borrowed the earbuds. It's because his "partner in crime" is using his own pair. Because Fairy is broken AF.. Two weaknesses that are really bad attacking types, resist the some of the best attacking types(and are immune to Dragon (arguably THE BEST attacking type) and also are super effective to them. Only good attacking type is Fire that resist Fairy and is normally effective on Fairy... Plus usually Fairies get Psychic and Fire moves (Clefable has Fire Blast, Flamethrower and Psychic, and then u have Steel/Fairy ones that have zero of the fairys weaknesses while nullifying Steels weakness to Fighting..

@@shawnli4746 I'd love to see dark it has an interesting history due to being meh at first due to all dark moves being special then how it peaked at gen 5 with all the new mons but then how fairy nerfed it. You can tell he's doing types that had a weird history in terms of pokemon amount or physical special split or severe buffs or nerfs. Because of that dark, ghost and psychic are good choices next while something consistent like water should be at the end

Don't forget Ghost/Fairy, even with measly stats Mimikyu was so stupid OP that they had to nerf it.. Only weak to Steel (And ghost but it also hits Ghost with super effective STAB) then it would just go Swords Dance/Agility(Sash and Disguise) /Play Rough/Shadow Claw and just body bag every thing in sight. Even now... Just do Agility and Weakness Policy and boom
