That’s the entire joke. Each April Fools update makes fun of the community in some way. The infinite dimensions update for all those people always asking for a new dimension, the one block at a time for everyone complaining about inventory problems, the voting update cause of all the drama caused from a silly little mob vote, etc. This one is probably making fun of how some items don’t get updated for new features

but for sure I hope for new biomes, some of the ones in the snapshot are great and could be polished and added as part of an ultra rare set of biomes (like the fungal ones) with mob variants and so forth. They also included giant potatoes like in a popular mod, giant veggies would be cool to grow, the pseudo-trees plants are cool too.

AM I the only one that realize that they last updates have been a lot, like whole dungeon system, with new mobs and bosses, new blocks, new automated crafting, new wind charge, new Dogs, Mob from Mob vote, New Weapon the mace, Mace just got New Updates with 3-4 enchantments, we got new potions effect, and am sure there a lot more Minecraft updates a lot it just there doing more frontend updates this year if you go check they changelog there always fixing bugs and adding small changes every week or 2 weeks.
