Honestly this strategy makes Hoenn Safari a little bit too easy IMO but if you just really want to finally get a target it’s a good option. I could also see it being viable for POC & speed runs!

Can someone explain in layman's term what the final catch percent of geodude would be if you choose the go near option 3 time? It's already basically 50%.

Since Geodude already has a 255 card rate going near would not increase your catch chance at all

To summarize, putting a bitter pokeblock in the feeder and throwing a spicy one is your best shot as that combo has a 86% chance of getting the glitch activated and giving you 0% flee rate!

Going near after the flow chat would do the same thing as before. There are two counters: the # bait counter and # of times gone near counter

If you would like top do it without pokeblocks then you can flip through the pdf research document. But all of the pokeblocks mentioned in this video can be made in single player
