I keep coming back to fanmade themes because the latest official Pokemon music feels so lacking for me. They just aren't capturing the right mood anymore. This sounds so appropriately high-energy and elaborate.

a copyright just means that they're holding the copyright until said year. It could come out sooner, but the whole copyright thing has to do with the fact that no one can steal their work and get away with it until that time is up. It's progressing a good chunk so far. Still haven't started on getting gameplay but a lot of things have gotten done. A lot of things have changed. (for instance this isn't going to be the Gym Leader theme, but it will be used. Probably for something even more epic ;) ) Nothing is fully official unless it's on the website. Check it out someday maybe :)

Probably not. The changes won't be that drastic and will mainly involve the piano starting at :35 more than anything else. That piano can become virtually any other instrument, befitting each leader as seen fit.

Can you make the trainer/gym leader AI act as competitive as possible? For example your opponent has lv 13 azurill with belly drum holding sitrus berry, and then you know what happen next, right? Or when you switch in electrode while your opponent is water typed, they will switch their opponent to ground?
