Yeah her theme sounds like Marnie’s and Oleana’s. But when you think about it, her parents are probably rose and oleana. Her hair either represents zacian and zamazenta or the red dynamax energy and blue dynamax energy which could explain why Koraidon and Miraidon love her hair because maybe it’s connected to Zacian and Zamazenta or the 2 different dynamax energies. Maybe they had an encounter in area zero with these Pokémon or energy? Who knows dlc will tell. But Gibraltar being apart of the UK and UK being Galar makes sense for a return to Galar and return of dynamax and Rose and Oleana.

The music she has is going VERY hard because this fight is basically completely out of her comfort zone. It's got this heartbeat-type bassline going hardstyle showing how panicked she is. This fight reminds me of It Has To Be This Way. Heck, some of the lyrics even match up: “I’ve carved my own path, you followed your wrath, but maybe we’re both the same…” The player chose what story to go through with (carving your own path), Penny simply did whatever she felt was necessary, using the power she had (this one is a bit of a stretch, but she followed the wrath that she had created), and both you and Penny were working towards the same goal for the same reason: to take down Team Star. “…The world has turned, so many have burned, but nobody is to blame!” Ever since Operation Star, the members of Team Star had been turned from heroes to villains by everyone else (the world had turned), many students have left the academy because of these events (in this case, it’s not literal burning, but the people who dropped out would probably go on to live worse lives because they dropped out), and nobody is to blame for Team Star’s reputation or anybody leaving aside from the bullies (BUT NOBODY IS TO BLAAAAME!) “Yet staring across this barren wasted land, I feel new life will be born beneath the blood-stained saaaaaaaaaaaand!” When you win the fight, the bosses of Team Star get new jobs they enjoy at the academy, and get to stay at the academy, while still keeping a boss-like role, because the director realizes that they had all been wrong in trying to condemn Team Star. (BENEATH THE BLOOD-STAINED SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!)

You know the entire team star arc gave me the whole "You aren't the hero of this story" vibe I felt more like a villain in this story. Team Star just wanted to stop the bullying but got all the blame. The only reason I'm a hero is cause by the law of code I am putting team stars legacy to rest. Penny just wanted a safer academy but they ended up getting all the blame. I feel that team star staying alive is the best thing that can happen for the academy especially now that they can help! 10/10 would recommend this was my favorite next coming in with Arven and the titans. And the way it all leads together at the end with everyone basically forming the Paldean Avengers to stop Turo/Sada's legacy is amazing. Best game ever.

Gen 9 undeniably has the best group of friends. Nemona is just so cool being all battle and actually having a challenge. Arven being Gordon Ramsay, how can u hate that and Penny despite being the quite one, still got some cool quirks and one her best traits is the fact that she's an eeveelution trainer which is completely awesome

Penny is also in a way, the first time the MC is close friends with an Team Leader. Sure, you can offer Piers but Team Yell wasn't really a Evil Team, just Dream Stans but for a challenger lmao, but jokes aside, Team Yell wasn't really like Team Star or Team Skull. Speaking of the latter, Team Skull is close contender but you aren't close friends with Guzma per se, just that both of you are just friends, likewise with Lusamine, Archie, and Maxie. Penny though, she's the only one that the MC [To an extent, you as well] that's very close with you. You can even go to an extent to the rest of Team Star as well.

@@mimivrc4148 I feel like it makes sense in lore and in game as well. Her team is not exactly a battle theme, it's her pets. She's not a trainer like Arven. She just battles with her pets even if they aren't powerful enough. Clavell is meant to be harder since he's definitely a experienced battler and not just some old guy. Penny was easy since she isn't a battler, Clavell is harder since he's a trained battler. That and he's probably the "old men are wise" thing

My favorite part is that this theme -completely- fits Penny to a T. As the boss, she requires the -sickest- theme in the group, but it's more than that. Penny was the most bullied of them all, the quiet kid who rose up to rebel against all those who tried to bully her. This theme is the perfect theme for such a person. A techno/Hardstyle theme for a hacker, a hardcore beat to match her rebellious nature, and a hopeful/cheerful bassline to reflect her happiness and the massive heart she carries within. Perfection.

It IS canon. And it's actually really sweet when you think about it. He doesn't know what they look like, but he loves them anyway and wants to give them the best and most badass track because they were able to see him for who he truly is inside. WE got to know him as a fun-loving party animal, but the rest of the student body knew him as just some goody-two-shoes teacher's pet imposing some dumb rules on them until he reintroduced himself to them. In fact, each one of the Team Star bosses reminds me of someone I know or have known in my life and their story reinforces how very grateful I am for the friends who've chosen to love me even when it seemed like no one else did.

Her theme was absolutely perfect to end off the team star story. The emotion in the tune was more than fitting for the whole team star concept. Personally, as someone who was treated like shit by student and teacher alike, I always felt horrible putting one of their bases down. But the ending was absolutely wonderful, and imo, the best story in the game. Edit: I enjoyed her theme so much I wanted to have the option to refight her like the rivals on Sword and Shield but sadly I've found nothing on it :( game freak better give you the option of refighting her in the future!
