Togekiss took out 2 of my Pokemon in Platinum. Survived Weaviles ice punch and aura sphered that into oblivion. Electivire was weakened from dealing with Spiritomb at the start of the fight thanks to a Critical Hit and Togekiss outsped and finished me off. Thankfully Infernape was faster and Togekiss was not in good enough condition to survive ThunderPunch. Doubly thankful that was her last Pokemon since all I had left was Infernape and a Gastrodon

In fact Torterra was such a good counter to her team in Gen 4, in Gen 5 she had Glaceon, Braviary and Eelektross (who has both levitate as well as flamethrower) depending if you fight her at Undella town or PWT.

I really like how if you really take the time and listen to this version, it turns out it actually isn't a cheap nightcore (nor is the Undella town version but that's even harder). The beginning of the loop has an added line of bass, and there are several plus drums you've never heard in sinnoh. I think the reason it sounds so similar is that they both were on the same console, made by the same limitations. The gym leader theme is much more different, but the reason is that they used mostly electronic music for it's remix, while this theme still has many existing instruments in it.

I believe they did this to show that she is tougher to fight than the previous game, Cynthia was by far one of the toughest Champions, and in Black and White she became even harder to beat being unable to even scratch her immediately after completing the story/beating elite four+champ, and in BnW2 she is even harder than that because of the improvement in her AI/Combat Style and pokemon moves/abilities/initial EV stats.
