Blue lost to Red and became a Gym Leader after Giovanni abandoned Team Rocket in the eyes of Red. Lance and Bruno rank up one since Lorelei went back to protect her family whereas Agatha retired from the Indigo league. Koga and Karen take over the old positions of Bruno and Lance respectively whereas Will just replaces Lorelei.

It's based on the “BATTLE! - VS LEAGUE CHAMPION” (or something like that) theme from Gold and Silver. Story characters didn't really have their own leitmotifs. I remember the first time I faced Lance in HG, he sent a Dragonite which took me a lot of effort to beat. Then he sent another Dragonite which finished my team off. BW2 was like the smash Ultimate of Pokémon, the last entry for the ds, the ultimate edition, where everyone is here, every special musics are there, but better, even today the remixes are my favourites, every characters sprite is animated....ugh, man...I miss the time when gamefreak actually were giving all of their efforts for the games...They went full mod with BW2, but after that, the downgrade...And here we are today with SWSH..

It was originally intended to be for Red during development of GSC but due to time constraints they just reused it for Lance. Now get ready for the stupid part. When asked why GAMEFREAK didn't make a new one for Lance, they said it was for "nostalgia" reasons. Making it even more confusing as to who's theme this really is lol.

Imagine if we fought Red in Scarlet and Violet,here’s how it will go(according to me), Red will send a level 95 Pikachu(Post game secret fight) and all other Pokémon at level 90-ish Red will have 5 Full Restores Red can mega evolve his Charizard depending on game version(Screw game mechanics im adding it in) After defeating him,He will send out a level 95 Mewtew that can switch between its Megas after losing some health.
