Looking at this devilish Pokémon, I instantly remember the greatest time of my childhood, hiding my nintendo under the pillow when my parents opened the door of my room at night. It took me quite a while to figure out how to move the boulders to get closer to this Pokémon. And then, the last obstacle between me and my favorite legendary Pokémon was Cyrus. After beating Cyrus however, I gave myself a little challenge. I didn't wanted to catch it with the master ball or an ultra ball. Instead, as a child, I came up with the idea of catching it with the classic Pokéball. Yesterday I started my old save file again on my classic nintendo ds and saw Giratina trained on LvL 100, Move Set : Aura Sphere , Shadow Force, Dragon Claw and Earth Power. Meanwhile I listened to exactly this theme and had so much memories coming up. I definitely need to re-play this whole game on another save file, because this save file holds nearly 1400 hours of my childhood.

A shame it didn't come to the remakes... they went overboard with being faithful to D/P rather than put in a lot of what made Platinum the definitive way to explore Sinnoh.

Because damn, the Distortion World was such an impact for me. It was scary as hell and yet felt peaceful at the same time. Suddenly you could understand what it would've looked like if Cyrus would have been successful with his plan. No living being. Just things out of place. And just a weird feeling to be there. I won't lie, if we got a sinnoh remake, I'd love it if it was just one game like Pokemon Carbon (focus on Arceus) and you get to choose which of three storylines to play. They have slight differences but decide if you have the story that has to do with using Time to unravel history and correct its mistakes, using Space to rearrange the world into a better form, or using Antimatter/Antigravity to create a new world altogether. If not that, then two Platinum alternatives, such as ChronoPlatinum and AstroPlatinum with it focusing on Giratina getting unleashed and causing a fight between it and either Dialga or Palkia in the Distortion World

I feel like it’s a bit too ominous and scary. What I liked about the original is how it’s both intimidating and ominous, yet also peaceful and serene, with a sort of strange beauty. It’s not an inherently bad place, but people aren’t meant to be there. This I feel takes that subtle binge and wild beauty out and makes it full scary. It’s damn impressive what you did, but I wonder if this direction was the right call.

I actually this however I do have some opinions.... I feel you tried very hard to make the theme sound 'grand' and triumphant at some parts and thats not a problem, just the original had a more somber, depressing but hopeful feeling to it. The song is suppose to feel 'empty' like its missing some parts but without them the song still sounds complete idk xD I just feel the original gave off this feeling of bitterness but silence like your truly alone in Distortion World. Good remix though :)

Sadly I don't think we'll ever get an official remix for this theme as they're probably gonna go with Diamond and Pearl's story when they do remakes. Just like they did with ORAS. And well since the Distortion World didn't exist in Diamond and Pearl.... yeah.......... At least we got this to listen to, which probably would have sounded better then an official theme anyways.

Crazy world man 😁 I have a cool short story to tell you. When I was a kid, my father had a new aquarium with some cool fish in it. We were preparing for our vacation trip so we packed everything in. So my father looked at the aquarium and he said just very randomly while staring at the thing "What would happen if this aquarium cracked right before we went to the airport?" And literally within a few seconds everyone heard a loud crack coming from the aquarium. BRO, the whole aquarium literally broke down. And everyone looked at him and was scared of him, because it happens a lot to him. And like I said, things like this happen to me too often, just like that story. 😅
