Celebi event in HG&SS was so awesome. They officially revealed that Silver was Giovanni's son and we were able to challenge Giovanni once more!

Yeah instead they coded full on side quests that are avaliabile like a single month, and then they get forever locked unless you cheat. What a beautiful design choice.

Phione... the “pre-evolved form” of Manaphy. It lives in warm seas and it will always return to its home. Manaphy... the “evolved form” of Phione. It drifts in cold seas and it’s egg is special unlike others. Darkrai... the Pokémon that causes nightmares to people and sometimes fights with Cresselia. Shaymin... the Pokémon that is like Gracidea flowers. The only Pokémon that can learn Seed Flare. Arceus... the Pokémon that hatched from an egg then shaped the world and created everything on it. Also known as the Pokémon God. Victini... the Pokémon that causes it’s Trainer to always win and brings victories. The only Pokémon that can learn V create( Besides copying moves users) Keldeo... the fourth member of the Swords of Justice. When it is in its Resolute form, it becomes more swifter and more powerful. Meloetta...the Pokémon that sings melodies that can control Pokémon’s feelings. It has a form called Aria form. Genesect... the Pokémon that over 300 million years ago,it was the strongest of hunters. Team Plasma added a cannon on its back for upgrading.

QOTD : I never had the chance of facing or obtaining them legitimately, I had to use the good old Action Replay cheats only to face Shaymin, Arceus and Darkrai, he was one of my favorites and he still is today. I never knew Mystery Gift existed, I was 9 years old back in the day.

I just played these games for the first time recently except for soul silver and didn't have the chance to obtain these pokemon. As for soul silver, I had bad internet access to get them. So, I don't have any of these events happen in my games.

RokuNami4ever (Sora Lockhart) I know it’s a bit late, but you can unlock the events again completely legitimately by changing the dns on your DS to 164.132.044.106 and go on a WEP wifi. Then connect to Nintendo wifi and mystery gift. It will work on all gen 4 and gen 5 games. (Though it’s a bit more difficult in gen 4)

Why can’t game freak make more events like this?? It makes the game much more entertaining especially when they’re not shiny locked. Rather than a direct deposit. Zarude could’ve easily been an event encounter in the forest of focus. It’s the closest thing to a jungle in galar combined with the fact that it’s on the isle of armor Pokédex.

I completed Pokémon ranger. One of the first kids in my school to have it. Didn’t know once you finish it you could transfer the egg over. Some kid found it out & I was always wondering how he did it. I remember mystery gifts showing up too & not claiming them. Biggest regret ever. I think I only got arceus from a movie event. I would use the plates to change his colour. Biggest regret not having that save file or the same game.
