What you wrote on the desc. is very true. I liked what you wrote. The truth is that nintendo makes pokemon that can only be obtained by events and some events are unreleased for the US. BTW that Mew is legit even though you hacked the ticket or anything to get there but its still the Mew from Faraway Island.

a nintendo is a real life pokemon event, like a yearly tournament for its anniversary or something like that, where there will be people giving you special items. i don't know how they do it cuz i've never been to one cuz its always been far away. anyway, you can use cheats from a gameshark or action replay to get mew and all those special pokemon the same way as from those events, but saving a lot of time.

@pokemario6456 That was why I missed the Enigma Stone event, since I forgot it and by the time I remembered, it was too late. Also, why wasn't Celebi in HeartGold/SoulSilver? They could have programed the event differently, and it would've worked, finally making Celebi obtainable. I just hope that if Ruby and Sapphire get remade, they reprogram ALL the events from Emerald too, like this Mew event. Otherwise, I'll be pissed.

You can pretty much get all legendaries in some games. Using events. Deoxys was obtainable in a platinum event, and the stones in one of the cities can change its form.

@girrocks12 If I remember correctly, even in Red and Blue they made Mew unobtainable (except through the Mew glitch) so that there'd more interest in the game or sumthing like that. =/

I've only been to one event, and that was to get Deoxys. There haven't been any other events anywhere near me. I didn't know you could official Celebis anyway.

You could get it from a Wifi Event like two years ago. If you transfer it from Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow you will not get it further than the second generation anyways.

The Old Sea Map was only released officially in Japan and was distributed in 2005 during the Pokémon Festa event. Like the GS Ball, this event item never reached international players without the use of cheating.

Depending on the Pokemon's nature, they have different stats. For instance, one nature ups attack, but lowers defense.

One question, you have action replay, where are the codes that let you get to Birth island as i saw in your Deoxys video and Navel rock. I need to get there because i want a Deoxys myself and because i just recently got back into pokemon it will be impossible to get deoxys any other way. Thanks.

Just like Faraway Island for Mew, there is Navel Rock for Lugia and Ho-oh. You can catch them in Emerald too.

You're talking about the Eon Ticket which allowed you to nab either Latios or Latias.

Actually, Synchronize only works with paralysis, burn, and poison. I think if it worked with freezing and sleeping as well, it would make the battle a little....inactive.

There is only one current way to enable this and all other 3 islands on an original cart. It requires a Nintendo DS/DS Lite and a flashcard

@megashadowmew I've been there, and MISSED the event Darkrai and Deoxys because my Pearl cart was missing at the time, so the only way I can get them is trade (like that will ever happen) or cheat. I really don't see why Nintendo/Game Freak can't program a way to get these "Unobtainable" legends legitimately. I mean, this Mew event for Emerald worked! Plus, while the event Pokes and items sent over WFC mean more people can get stuff, it's harder to stay informed of them (cont. in next post)

if you downloaded a folder then there should be two files you need, one .gba and another .ips, you need to have booth in the folder were you load the rom from. One question, what console is used in this video, is it a nds?

I know.. I know I liked gold and silver to, but after that yeah... I just want one where it stop having new pokemon and you can just travel from pallet town all the way to where ever it is now that would be fantastic, ties everything together. Also the concept of yellow I think was really good as well, gosh pokemon bringing back alot of memories I remember when I first got mew like 4 months after red came out, and that was just awesome lol, all my friends were really jealous lol..

Uh... just one quick error, here... The battle music isn't unique to Mew, completely; Only in Emerald. It's the standard music in FireRed and LeafGreen.

@Chrysmos No you CAN get shiny legendaries just like any other pokemon, but without cheating, your best bet is to save right infront of the legendary pokemon and then talk to it, if its not shiny (probably wont be lol) then reset your gameboy and keep doing it till you obtain a shiny. This will take forever though, since its still under a 1/8000 chance that you will encounter it, but some people will wait though. Also, u can clone in this game and legendaries might turn shiny in cloning.

The Mystic Ticket was a free gift in an issue of Nintendo Power. I forget which one. It was a card to scan with the eReader. You'd link to Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, and receive the item in the game.

@Imaginashun Ha yeah thats why I say its ok to use cheat device (AR and gameshark) just to get the item needed so that at least everyone could get a shot at catching it. I think THAT is fair. And what the hell we gonna do when the events are over? It'd be impossible to get them without cheating and I think the whole event Idea is stupid I don't know what the hell gamefreak was thinking most people will just cheat anyways. Even if the events are happening, its rare you'd get it.

@CpHelper But then fans in America can't obtain the event item. So basically it's limiting it to only Japan fans who can get the event item within the time limit. I think this whole event exclusive pokemon is idiotic but I'd at least be able to say it was fair if it was released in America also, so this is the only way people in America can get the Mew. So as long as they aren't hacking the game to find it in the wild randomly and just getting the event item I think it isn't cheating.

You can only get it if you use AR(Action Replay) or you go to the nitendo event. Since the event is gone, you can only get it by cheating

no they actualy hav events for darkrai, arceus, and shamin. in fact i hav a legit arceus and darkrai. (no i didnt go to an event. my frend did and in exchange for helping him transfer his shamin when he started over, he let me keep them.
