This is the FRLG song using the soundfont from the original games, the original didnt have this much flare, and only had three channels. So basically, its the remake of a song and then bringing it back to its source sounds.

Espeon804 it is an 8-bit remix of a remix of 4-bit theme. R/B/G/Y was actually 4-bit version then G/S/C was 8-bit version then R/S/E/FR/LG was 16-bit version. There is a slight but noticeable difference between R/B/G/Y and G/S/C. Many people get confused in it and think of R/B/G/Y as 8-bit.

TheFlaringFlareon Actually 4 bit is a thing. (Original Gameboy had 2-bit graphics and a 4-bit soundchip, NES also had a 4-bit soundchip) And GBA soundchip is actually a 8-bit DAC

This sprite of Blue is from HG/SS when we fight him in the Viridian Gym. That line "Heh heh heh... We'll knock you down!" is also from HG/SS same battle in the Gym. This line is actually half cut by Pokeli. It says something more b/w heh heh and we'll knock you down.

My first pokemons were red, stadium and yellow, then silver and stadium 2, i got an sp in 2006 for emerald, pretty much didn't have any contact with pokemon games after like 2007 for 10 years except maybe emulate black for little bit but that and the saves all on a cold sleepy almost dying pc (than the one i use atm) And recently got new charger for sp and getting back to the poke scene but yeah i reckon kanto and johto (any gen) have the best feel and vibe of a pokemon quest/road to master while sword and shield probably seem cool with new features

Because Satoshi Tajiri himself refers to the game protagonist and his rival as "Satoshi and Shigeru" ("Like in the games, Shigeru is always one step ahead of Satoshi"). Actually, "Red and Green/Blue" was a GSC retcon as far as the games are concerned. Literally nothing wrong with calling them Ash and Gary (if you are calling him "Blue" instead of Green already anyway).
