Pokemon GO has announced the Season 18 GO Battle League update, the Season of Timeless Travels. This video is focusing on the move rebalances and movepool changes with the Pokemon GO Season of Timeless Travels update. Not only will this season feature big Medicham Nerfs, but also has a bunch of controversial buffs including but not limited to Icy Wind Wigglytuff, Shadow Ball Quagsire, Triple Axel Froslass, and a big old Scald Buff making Poliwrarth even more terrifying. They also gave Dedenne Parabolic Charge.

The game really needs IV items. I think it adds so much more depth to game. I've been praying for a 1/13/0 shadow Dnair for the mirror (straight dragon breath, with a PS Froslass bulkpoint and non-slayer Medi counter bulkpoint). Where I live I feel it's always windy weather, so half the time I find a Cliff I can't even do it bc I don't want the IV floor increase.

For what it's worth Wigglytuff doesn't actually have access to fairy wind so it is only charm. While 2 shield charm becomes even scarier with Icy Wind it's not like Wiggly is going to be really spamming icy wind so I'm not too worried about that one since the regular anti-charm strategies should still work just fine. Poliwrath getting it is definitely concerning though, especially for ultra league. H. Avalugg getting it is actually really nice for masters because it increases the viability of a free-to-play choice. Bergmite has been common a number of times so grinding the required XL has not been difficult and the addition of icy wind gives Avalugg a way to leverage it's good bulk and apply more pressure to the many dragons and ground types of the format. The double weaknesses to fighting and steel mean that there should still be plenty of counter play. Combined with a potential Mud Slap buff for Rhyperior I think this actually helps make FTP players more competitive in ML (still going to be at a disadvantage though)

I live in a town of 30k people, no radars or scanners or anything like that, just an active Discord community. Caught 8 total Frigibax, 3 of which have literally spawned on me in various places. I think the Trailblaze coverage is to offset the even greater appeal of Lanturn in OGL. Trailblaze on Greedent also helps with the buff to Poli as well as Tenta in UL. Niantic has absolutely been *trying* to monetize regular TMs over the past couple of seasons. Around the same time a lot of the other unpopular monetization-related changes and adjustments seemed to be happening, special boxes focused on regular TMs started popping up here and there in the store. I don't have proof of this but it also feels like they have reduced the chance of receiving them.

About braviary: steel wing is now poison jab clone and normal braviary learns it.. and it learns close combat so works quite similarly to staraptor AND it learns rock slide which gives it pretty good coverage (if people know what moveset it has they almost always will want to shield).. the only downside is that it is quite fragile... like.. you said how abomasnow and drifblim are on more fragile side (1860-1912 stat product).. well.. braviary is below 1700 (1-15-15 just gets to 1700 so all combinations but rank #1 are below)... i might wanna try braviary on ultra league where it can tank some hits.. it is slightly bulkier than toxicroack (brav is 3660-ish stat product and toxicroack is below 3600... in comparison swampert is around 3900 and machamp is around 3550-3612).

Parabolic Charge, Drain Punch, Giga Drain should be the same and fair damage for fair energy with +1 Defense. Mega Drain should just be a Giga Drain clone with lower damage. I’d like more moves that are the same damage and energy like in the main games. Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower all have the same damage and PP in the main series, for example.

Re: IV fixing items: I've been thinking about this a while, and I think the best option is to do a semi-rare (think "XL Rare rarity" item) that does +1 to a single stat of your choice. Letting you pick the stat 0-15 is "too good," so I think it needs to be +/-1. -1 is good for PvP, but also something that only a few players would ever use. Imagine the "normie" player who accidentally clicks -1, instead of +1, on their 98%; they're going to feel stupid. A +1 only "bottle cap" (or whatever they end up calling it) would let players invest in near-perfect pokemon expecting to boost them to 100%. (maybe a boosted stat can be shown in green, to cosmetically indicate it's not a "natural 100%.) Does this proposed item fix the problem you're discussing? Not directly. The Frigibax problem is that it doesn't spawn. If they just have it spawn more, that's a big step. With the item discussed above, you'd still need to find a 0-2 Attack Frigibax in the wild, but you could bottle cap it the rest of way to perfection if need be. (PvP use of bottlecaps would involve hording them, then blowing them on 1 guy; PVE use would probably involve maxing relevant 94+%s and then blowing the caps as needed.)
