Yeah, Tho D/P was slow, Platinum was a MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT to D/P, becoming the best game at that time also because of Distortion World. Then HG/SS stepped in and BAM! Great music, greatest post-game, POKeMON FOLLOW YOU and What Not! Hands down, Gen 4 is the greatest Gen. Edit: Opinions change over time, and I think Gen 5 is as good, if not better than Gen 4.

actually the original canavale city darkrai event was never put pubicly in the eu. only in the japanese versions and that from the US which we in EU had no acces to unless u had a action replay or u hacked.. pokemon rangers u could transfer him to daimond and pearl. the other where mystery gifts to get darkrai. which is sad tbh. but this is what happened

i mean, technically you're suppressing their power by using a poke ball to catch them. i remember cyrus talking about how dialga and palkia would have their powers weakened when caught with master balls, which is why he made the red chain. i suppose this could be a possible explanation to why their sprites become smaller. or, you know, having oversized sprites might mess up the game and stuff

If you could catch other legendary Pokemon in HG/SS, where would they be located? Regirock: deep inside either Mt. Mortar or Rock Tunnel. Regice: a hidden room in the Ice Path/Cave. Registeel: Victory road. Regigigas: must have all three. A hidden island in the kanto region near the seafoam islands. Heatran: the volcano on cinnabar island. A backstory that it was responsible for the eruption. Have the inside similar to Terra Cave in Emerald. Cresselia: Mt. Moon on Monday nights, when the Clefairy gather for their dance.

I'd like to add a few caveats: For Rayquaza, both Kyogre and Groudon must have been caught in Embedded Tower, with one traded from the other game (HG/SS). A Kyogre/Groudon that has been imported from RSE, or that has been otherwise cheated in/forced to spawn anywhere else, will not work, and will not activate the Jade Orb conversation. The Arceus that activates the Dialga/Palkia/Giratina creation event must be either received directly from a Pokemon Event and given to you by the man in the Poke Mart, *or* caught in D/P/Pt in the Hall of Origin through the Azure Flute (which was never released outside of Japan and so must be cheated in). An Arceus that has been cheated in through any other method will not activate the event. Also, the Arceus event can only be activated once per game - having an event Arceus activate the event, and then coming back with a Hall of Origin Arceus will not allow the event to activate. Also, whichever of the Creation Trio you choose will spawn with its respective Orb held. This is the only way to get a Griseous Orb in HGSS, as they cannot be traded.

I like these games because you can get both Mascot/cover Legendaries in one game, looking at you Cosmog(they should have made him evolve into the opposite of the cover you have so you can have both without trading) EDIT:I no longer have her, but I had a Lunala named Big Zubat...............yeah, not the best name is it now, getting trolled on the GTS is fun
