I've binges the first 12 i love it honestly it has a great story especially with roy ,liko , and dot they are just at the beginning of whats instore for them and were learning tiny but important details of them , the pendant ,poke all , and ancient traveler is so interesting and I can't wait to explore it now I will say this besides the great story I believe the gym journey is important for liko and roy as well as dot it will teach them so much about themselves their partners and pokemon I personally miss the traveling and gym challenge trend ash had

I'm loving this series, 14 episodes in and still feels fresh, I'm always looking forward to what the series will bring in the future, great story, we already got a mystery with the Ancient trainer, actual competent villains, new pokemon and overall I'm still overjoyed that we FINALLY got rid of Ash. The only complaint I have is that the Rising Volt Tacklers aren't that good at battling, makes sense Liko and Roy not being good as they are still new at being trainers but the adults? Different story, Freed is barely good, but everyone else seems really crap.

1. Liko got the pendent from her gram 2. Roy got the pokeball from his pap 3. The pokemon are ceeled in there cause they belonged to the ancient adventurer 4. They do have goals, they wanna see likos gram about the pendent, as well as find the rest of the ancient adventures pokemon. 5. I really just think friedes loossely based on ash, but has no relation, im just kind of tired of ash. But yeah glad you liked it.

Ash's final episode is not completed, there's something missing in this episode: Giovanni telling to Matori to study the doomsday project information. Team Rocket's doomsday project builded. Team Rocket tries to steal Ash's Pikachu again. Officer Jenny saving Ash and Pikachu from the Team Rocket. Team Rocket's Doomsday Pod arriving in Pallet Town. Gary's Umbreon saving Ash and Delia from the Team Rocket's Doomsday Pod. Professor Oak sending messages to regions and all of Ash's friends through Pidgey. Ash reuniting all of his old friends (Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles, Mallow, Goh and Chloe). Tracey shows to Gary a photo of the Team Rocket's doomsday project. Ash and all of his old friends teams up with Gary and the members of Project Mew to fight against Team Rocket. Members of the Project Mew arrives to Team Rocket's Doomsday Project. Ash, his old friends and Gary goes into the Team Rocket's doomsday project. Team Rocket Grunts surrounding Horace and Lyla. Jessie, James, Meowth and Wobbuffet quits and escapes too with rocket jets. Matori escapes from the Doomsday Project's destruction with a small elevator. All Pokémon trainers and Team Rocket Grunts escapes from the Doomsday Project. Gary, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Bonnie, Clemont, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles, Mallow, Goh, Chloe, Danika, Quilon, Horace and Lyla escapes from the Doomsday Project and gets into the Project Mew's ship. Ash and Serena defeated Team Rocket. Pokémon Trainers celebrates Team Rocket's defeat. 26 years in the future. Ash and all of his old friends growing up and having their own children. Why didn't the Japanese producers and writers try harder to bring all of Ash's old friends into the final episode? I always say because the final episode isn't complete without all of Ash's friends. The Japanese producers and writers don't want to continue with Ash getting together with all his friends to fight Team Rocket, they don't want to plan Ash and Giovanni's final battle, they just keep ignoring all the plans.

While Sun and Moon reinvigorated the Pokémon Anime, there was no way to tell if it would remain good from that point on as long as Ash remained the protagonist. Getting rid of him was the best thing that's happened to it. The only part about it that's a shame is that it didn't happen earlier. The fatigue caused by having him around for so long surfaced during DP, and was on full display during XY.

I'm not a fan of episodic stuff, and that's why I dislike Alola, although it fit for the region. This is on the same level as Kalos, however. A little bit more enjoyable imo. I watched XY/Z for amour, but I actually like the mystery in this series. It's not your cut and paste defeat gym leader and save the world thing, and that's WHY I like it. I also enjoy the female protagonist aspect, mainly because Liko reminds me of myself too. This also has an art style style with memorable designs. Me personally, this is my favorite Pokemon anime by far. XY/Z coming in second, and DP coming in third.
