Why don't they use the actual themes instead of remixing them in the styles-of the generations?

Doesn't fit how battles are in pokemon masters. The result would be awkward.

@@flashthegarbagebin but they sound extremely similar, just different tunes. Most of the remixes are fast-beat battle music. I don't think it's a case of it sounding out of place, not when they are practically the same in terms of purpose. but then for other remixes they use the same tune as the original songs? Makes no sense.

I guess that makes sense. The OST is a big part of the game though, and for some, the only thing good about it. Some themes they left almost the same (Marnie Theme didn't change much) but some were modernized by the game (Gen 5 and below) and some that *didn't* have any themes before, now have. On the contrary, some were completely ruined. But I get your point, many are unnecessarily remixed. They just tried to change the style to fit the overall theme of the game.
