I love that Mikey's Bellossom is just secretly a master of martial arts. Nearly every KO it's gotten has been a punch or kick move. And several of those have been the move that won the match for him since he tends not to use it much and only pulls it out when things are getting dire, but honestly it's come through for him 9 times out of 10!

I remember re-watching Mikey's Draw My Life and a few other videos featuring other creators and noticing things I relate to (taking things super literally, being bullied for things that I know retrospectively were/are special interests, getting frustrated when people don't take your perspective/ideas seriously, going off on tangents in relation to other people's stories) and wondering at the time if Mikey may be undiagnosed autistic. John remembering where there wasn't a shark problem when he was younger is likely based on the fact there were less sharks due to hunting (and Jaws panic), but since they have been protected Great white populations are rebounding (slowly) and in their absence sealions have been overpopulating and moving closer and closer to human inhabited waters bringing the Sharks with them as they follow prey

I take jokes and sarcasm literally all the time...although I actually tend to have a hard time telling if it's a joke or not, despite living in a very sarcastic household. And also the Cape Cod shark conversation is totally real...I just call it "shark town" now because they are EVERYWHERE! You'd think New England waters would be too cold for them but now with the climate change and the Great White conservation efforts it's a whole different story. I've only ever been to The Cape once though and I was a baby so I don't remember it. My family always preferred going down to the Jersey shore, specifically Cape May, every year...even though it's farther away from my home state (CT) than Cape Cod but we didn't care.

Wasn't expecting a Mike Trout reference. For anyone curious, he's 50th All time in Wins Above replacement and he's only 32 years old.
