Ah, yes, The Champion Battle theme. I get so many feels from this, all those years ago, the very first time I played Pokemon Red. I remember feeling so excited about finally fighting the champion, and figuring out it was Blue made me want to win so much more! One thing I remember from the Fire Red/ Leaf Green remake especially is how menacing Blue's theme sounded compared to the other versions - which made sense to me. Picture thinking that you had cleared the championship... Only you had made it moments too late. My world would totally be falling apart. The frantic piano, strong bass, and synthesizer that borders on choir in this remix really draw that out, and I think it's quite fitting.
