Did you cover this theme with real insturment samples and used the MIDI for the base, or cover it completly by studio recording? I'm curious, the french horn sounds like the "brass section" sample in Apple's Garage Band.

This arrangement is identical to one of the R120 MIDI sequences downloadable from vgmusic.com. I can tell you MIDI-slapped this just by listening to it.

I use this site a lot. I usually take a midi as a base to make my own, but, If I remember well, this one was so good that I decided to use as it was.

Crepa Music Yes, but even the best ones seem to sound better as a MIDI sequence than a full-on MP3 rendition. Theyre also always slightly inaccurate to the originals. You're right about there being a lot of good midi sequences, though. The battle arrangements are my favorites.
