Oh how I used to spend hours as a kid cleaning the soot off the grass for no reason at all. I ended up finding my first shiny on this route, and being a kid I thought the slugma was just the color of the soot lol. I started up my copy of Emerald the other day, and found my shiny boi still in my party waiting for me to start up the game again all these years later.

I’m playing through ORAS for my first time (and as I type this I’m about to face Winona) and I luckily found a Skarmory on my first attempt, only to replace it two gyms later with Latias, as I didn’t realize you get a legendary flying type slap bang in the middle of the gym.

Well it's been a while but I'm back! The past year has been pretty hectic but now I finally have the time to start making content again so expect to see more videos in the future! (still good since the first time I watch this) Damn this is so underrated you deserve more view and subs for this, this is a perfect song for a film score or fan animation on Route 113. l just love the constant changing movement with this piece. it gives me imagery of me and by a girl playing in spring having no care in the world just being silly. I will look back to this score as to how to break down a score, just my God incredible.

TriScore Thanks! Yeah, I was a bit concerned if I had gone a bit too far with messing around with the original music, but everyone's response has been really positive which Im really happy about. I do wish I took more time over the mix though, overall it's far too trebly, I'll just need to make sure I take my time in the future!

Yeah I see what you mean with regard to it sounding similar. The cello and bass line here, aswell as the upper string decending lines (later flute) came from the harp part in the A part of the melody in the original route 113 RSE track. Here the original harp part is of course altered, but I do like to try and use as much of the original material when developing arrangement ideas to help it to sound familiar while at the same time being somewhat fresh.
