I mean Basculin, Clawitzer, Barraskewda and Veluza are all mentioned to be edible in the pokedex, similarly Crabominable's claws are said in the pokedex to be a delicacy, there's a food item you can buy that has Klawf claws in it, Polteageist's tea is edible, Nacli is salt which is used in cooking, Blissey's eggs are edible, Fidough is based on bread and if you bend the rules a bit Ribombee's pollen puffs are edible too

I'm pretty sure they eat alligator in Louisiana, so Fuecoco would work as a starter, too. Sunflower seeds are also eaten here, so Sunkern (I know, not a great choice, but it's still food).

Brother, I just want to say I love your channel so much. All of the different nuzlocke types is SO much fun. Yes, you basically win every one with ease, but they're still so fun and creative. Have you ever considered also diving back into previous games with many less options/less ways to get items you need, etc? Could be more difficult maybe. Like, doing a dog run in generation 3 or 4 or something. Or starting with just types then going into the categories. Could be a fun mix up if you ever run out of ideas here or just want to change it up. With Gen X so far away still, it can't hurt!

Actually you could have chosen fuecoco. He is an alligator, and here in brazil (especially in Pantanal) people eat them. I never tried because... because. But it is said to taste like chiken.
