The game was unpolished, and in some places it became obvious it was either unfinished or something else was bugging out, but I’m having a blast! So many small quality of life additions that I didn’t know they would actually add and I’m still finding more. Sure, we as loyal players deserve better from such a gargantuan franchise, but I can still say I’ve had fun and IMO would consider it worth the buy. Hopefully we’ll get some serious patches for the game later on.

We really REALLY need more patches. Just the other day, I encountered a bug where one of my pokemon went missing from my PC boxes. Thankfully it was only a Mudbray, but as someone who likes to do my boxes by dex number (living dex), it was noticeable. Hoping no one else encounters it.

I honestly enjoyed the game more than sword and shield, it didn't have the same polish as that game where it was rough but enjoyed it. 8/10 will complete the poxedex. Violet gang btw (I regret my life decisions.)

This game as well as PLA proved to me that Gamefreak _wants_ to take a step forward with the franchise, but their absolutely abysmal technical/coding capacity as well as "1 year 1 game" deadline bs resulted in this mess. It's such a shame, because as much as I had fun with this game I can't help but think that if they had delayed the game by at least a year SV could have become easily the best Pokemon title in the series. Makes me wonder what Sonic Frontiers would have been like had SEGA denied Sonic Team their 1 year delay, and if any other IP would still be as _praised_ as Pokemon even when their latest title ends up as this much of unpolished mess.
