I check the Pokemon wiki and it said that the starters are based around different party/holidays: Meowscarada is based of a masquerade ball or the holiday Mardi Gras. Skeledirge is based of the Día de Muertos holiday. Quaquaval is based of the Rio Carnival. Also, I'm kind of of sad that the grass starter is not a saber-tooth since that grass starters usually looked like prehistoric creatures.

Really love the living bird on Fuecoco’s final Evo! I was pretty adamantly Fuecoco the whole promo period, but I actually really love Quaxley’s design too. This is tough… Edit: Sprig’s final Evo sucks tho, no cap

Same, torn between Skeledirge and Quaquaval. I liked Skeledirge since the beginning, but the body seems weirdly simplistic and bland. Quaquaval grew on me after seeing him ingame and reminds me of a fusion between Sceptile and Blaziken. I’m def using Ceruledge on my team so that’s also making me lean towards picking Quaquaval

In my opinion, I think the whole Fuecoco line looks good, Not a fan of the design of Quaxly's second form or Sprigatito's final form. I’m still gonna pick Sprigatito. Maybe I’ll get used to the final form design. Edit: actually, Quaxly’s second form is cool, but the legs are too wide for my liking. I’m also not a fan of the feet that the final evolution has.

Skeledirge looks good, Quaquavel is ok albeit strange to look at but Meowskerade is just… No. I’m sure it has its fans but even then I think I speak for everyone when I say it would’ve been better if it was a species of animal first and quirky profession later or better yet Never because Pokémon are supposed to be like Animals with Powers not furries with powers, like come on!

Honestly, the fire crocodile isn't a bad pokemon, it's just a bad starter final stage. The concept just doesn't fit the expectation of Fuecoco's line. Water has some good idea but too weird of vibe overall and Plant is pure trash.

Fire starter - weird first evolution, really good final evolution. 4/5 Grass cat turns into humanoid furry and then into a taller humanoid furry. 0/5 Duck turns into weird humanoid with wind tips and then into an even weirder humanoid bird thing. 0/5 Wtf is this???
