I can't remember if I ever got a female shiny starter before but I have gotten a shiny female pansear which has the same gender ratio as the starters. And a shiny female Eevee but that was from a Pokemon raid so it could have been messed with. I still love Sugar my now shiny Sylveon. I mean Eevee was a starter in let's go so if you count it as one then I guess I do have a shiny female starter then

I started the hunt 3 days after the game came out, got shiny Chimchar in literally 7 resets, and then my life got hella hard (spent 50+ hours in Eterna Forest to get a shiny Beautifly) and now I'm still trying to get an underground shiny, I'm 80+ hours in and still nothing 😭
