Marnie sucks at battling and Hop does not get good until post game. I still swept Hop's team even after he got Zacian, with a Dragapult, because I just used his Wooloo as setup fodder, since he was not smart enough to switch to a Pokemon that can damage ghost types.

This entire thing is a tragedy of impulsiveness as the result of poor communication. This whole mess could have been avoided if someone just told Hop and the protagonist that, “Hey, Leon and Rose are just talking for a bit, please be patient, you little s**ts”. As a result of NOBODY talking, two teens broke into a private building, Team Yell caused chaos, and this woman snapped. Oh, and Rose wasn’t talked into being patient, resulting in the Second Darkest Day.

Oleana's battle is my favorite battle in the entire game. The happy-go-lucky build up to her battle completely is a big surprise when you end up facing a berserk Oleana. (+Her theme is my favorite in the game)

So here's a pretty interesting fact. Oleana used to live in poverty and that's when she was best friends with her trubbish(that's why when she throws her gmax ball she hugs it and it's rlly wholesome). So when chairman Rose took her in, she got her elegant ladylike pokemon and that's also why she's so loyal to him.

I swear, characters who look so calm on the outside but also have a psychotic insane personality that can suddenly snap out of nowhere just gives me the creeps! Azula from avatar is a perfect example, at first she looked pretty calm but yet i knew she was still a threatening villain, but during the final episodes where she just snaps more and more is what freaking scared me a kid. To me, azula was no longer a calm yet creepy person, but a murderous monster. I still find her meltdown scene pretty heartbreaking though.

I think Olena is one of the most believable and relatable characters in the game. Olena isn’t crazy she just has a bad temper and is loyal to Rose for him giving her a new life. She has a team of redefined beautiful Pokémon but never got rid of her childhood trubbish. That shows she loves her Pokémon and wouldn’t abandon them or freeze them like our girl over in Alola XD

From what I figured, Gigantamax or not, all Dynamaxed Pokemon are scaled to fit in a specific camera angle, demonstrated here at 5:55 So it's probably WAY bigger then what you see in this battle, they just shrunk it a tad to get it to fit on screen.

This woman rocks essentially a 90's workout vid as her theme and its bad ass like if anyone else had this in the game as their theme I'd be be like ok neat. However the fact that it's reserved for the woman who poured her heart and soul into the ambition of a man who not only took her for granted but literally wants to Machiavelli the entire galar region because of a power shortage that may or may not happen without a clear plan. People like to say she's not a very good villain but it's cause shes a very nuanced character she doesn't want to be the villain she wants to be the rock for the company and the man that hired her ; moreover, that person she would go to hell for and back is the man who essentially gave her everything she has so because of that oleana is fiercely devoted him in a heavily fanatical degree. it's why when rose goes off the deep end and releases eternatus she's not somber or angry she's defeated because she knows she can't help him he's gone too far. She is my favorite character In the game hands down and I hope we get more characters like oleana.

I think a lot of people miss the subtle storytelling with her Pokemon. If I remember correctly, she had a very hard life before Rose helped her, probably poor or struggling. All her Pokémon are beautiful and elegant exocet her favorite, Garbador. I believe it was probably her first Pokémon, that she had all throughout her hard times. And in a way she loves him for being there for her when she didn’t have anyone else during those times, and he reminds of those hard times and how she clawed her way up to a better life. The way she hugs the Pokeball before throwing it, it shows she has an immense attachment to her Garbador, which is a stark contrast the rest of her elegant and beautiful Pokémon. I just love the subtle and visual storytelling, because I feel like things like that have been lacking in the newer Pokemon games. She had a much more interesting and compelling backstory than the Chairman and I think she should have been the final boss. She was also just way harder than him for me anyways.

Lusamine had a team based on each trait a perfect mother should have. Oleana is just about beauty, and then you realize she was just rotten inside. I really enjoy when a Pokemon team reflects a trainer personality.
