Y'all get THREE elite four members (Karen, Sidney, Grimsley) plus a Kahuna (Nanu), who is technically also an Elite Four except he stepped down before they officially set it up and his successor was Ghost Type. But nah, you gotta celebrate that downgrade when you finally get that gym leader position. Dark type trainers everybody! They need to be seen as unpopular I guess to fit their misunderstood persona. Meanwhile Grass type be like, "yo we got a ton of gyms, when are we getting representation in the Elite Four?"

@@proudlarry8225 I think most of it comes down to type balance. Grass types are normally pretty weak and have status effects etc. so teaches that to new players, plus they're weak to bug which is commonly found in the first routes. Dark is pretty strong, they're weak to fighting and fairy (and also bug funnily enough) so are more suited to E4 or at least late game.

Hi! Your English is good! However, (sorry if I sound annoying I just want to help out!) Nezu is a proper noun since it’s a name, so you wouldn’t but ‘the’ in front of it. Player is a common noun, so you’d put ‘the’ in front of it. Other than that, spot on!

You could always look to the Twilight Wings episodes on the main Pokemon channel. Piers’ appearances shows that he has this tired gruffy voice, which IMO suits him pretty well from the way he carries himself. Gamefreak should really just get the voice actors the Pokemon channel hired to be the ones for the English VAs and other VAs for other languages.

Piers is honestly the Guzma of S&S. Sure he ain't out there trying to prove nothing (that's his sister), but damn will he fucking let your know he does not give two fucks about the league as whole with things. Guzma straight up formed a gang just cuz Alola didn't let him be one of the Island Challenge leaders, and gladly keeps that going with a crew that I swear is the most wholesome after you think about their context for existing (outcasts who help each other out through tough times). Piers... Really just doesn't fucking Dymamax which is completely reasonable. It's a GIMMICK. A good trainer shouldn't rely on gimmicks to be able to be the best. Sure arguably Z-Moves can be a gimmick but they're just suped up attacks. Megavolution is a gimmick too, but it's also something Piers would likely support. The Pokemon puts its own health at risk (seriously read the mega entries) to go beyond and become even stronger for a trainer they trust 100%. Even then, it's not an ultimatum technique. You can still topple a mega with planning. Piers has fucking respect- that is to say, he saw through the bullshit that is Dynamaxing
