At this point since Ace Spec's have been rebooted in recent sets maybe it's time for TPCI to reboot expanded to X&Y onward (or even sun&moon since like 80% of the x&y core staples feel banned lol)? I'll miss hypotoxic lazer as much as the next person but a large part of the decline in expanded was because it never returned after 2020 and the fact it's been largely ignored since. A returning and improved format could make things much more interesting. As much as locals can push for it, changes have to be made from the top and it seems like tpci doesn't care about expanded because expanded doesn't bring as much money as standard.

I'd like to point out that the choice belt has both a regulation, F and G mark despite Vs being stuck in F.

yep. found that very strange when the card was in the SV set 😆 like, the pokemon this is meant for won't be in format after F, why give it a G reg, why print it at all.. possibly some sort of miscommunication somewhere. all choice belts from SV will go with yellow border cards, into the boxes of bulk and up the attic after march

Basically Scarlet & Violet Base Set onwards will be legal for tournaments after April 11th. All the cards with the silver borders now. Got ya.

The meta game change is going to be absolutely amazing, I can't stand playing regidrago, lugia, gardevoir and lost box anymore Also quite happy to see radiant greninja go away as it made evolution decks against chien pao going second almost unplayable Very excited for the new meta!

Also big RIP to Miraidon as it currently exists thanks to the loss of Raikou and Raichu. For now the card is just a search tech for Iono cards.

To be fair, way back in 2022, when Scvi first started, I created a Miraidon deck using Magnezone EX, and I wonder if I should return to that deck to spruce it up a bit once Reg G comes out

Nahh that’s cap buddy that bellibolt is gonna make miraidon good it still has E-generator and is a built in best ball for elec it’ll be fine just a little bit slower

please help me out, Quad Thorns are in the brink of destruction, i have been playing quad Thorns for the past year, and its one of my most favorite deck, even invested in all highest rarity for the deck With the loss of DTE, Lost City, Vacuum, Misfortune Sisters and Cancel Cologne, we are going to be so average.. like for all Quad Thorns player out there, any ideas what to replace for the F cards?
