I literally saw this pop on my recommended, searched for the official version (and failed to find a full version for comparison because of course we hardly get much for songs that don't outright say "Pokémon" in it) and now I adore this song! What can I say? I just prefer a theme song to be vague enough that I don't have to know what it's from to enjoy it. It's kinda like my thing against the Power Rangers themes as well (not bashing them, it's just that unlike Pokemon, they don't have a single opening theme with my preferred vagueness level). What I mean is that, for the love of god, we *KNOW* it's Pokémon for crying out loud! We hear "Pokémon" being said enough times in the show alone, and there's only so many times you can stick with the same thing before you become a broken record. Advanced Battle has to be the first instance for me of them toning that down, and then majority of the English songs for a while kind of stuck with that. Most of Diamond and Pearl's hit that well, Black and White had it's own neat spin on it (I may prefer NateWantsToBattle's version with Amalee for the first theme without debate, but all of yours are just absolutely amazing!). Then came Kalos Quest, the song with "Pokémon" only ever being said a single time at the very end (your cover rocks by the way!), and for a long time the pinnacle...until The Journey Starts Today just blew that dam to orbit! ...I got a bit off topic. The point is that I love how you managed to extend the second ever (to my knowledge) opening Pokémon theme song worthy of hearing randomly on the radio! This is amazing work, and the extension is totally what I expect an official extended version would be! If there are any two artists here on KZbin I could think of that I would want to be the voice of an official Pokémon theme, it would be you and NateWantsToBattle! Keep up the amazing work dude!
