I'm not surprised you made it deathless since Steel is such a powerful, defensive typing featuring a diverse range of similarly strong Pokemon, which only was slightly nerfed in Gen VI when it stopped resisting Dark and Ghost but acquired a new resistance to Fairy. I'd love to see you try to beat S/V in a Rock type only challenge.

Howdy, Antlerboy! Love your content, you make the best nuzlockes out there and its always nice to have your videos on while I make my own runs through Pokemon. Coincidentally, I JUST finished a Rock-type Scarlet run. Let me tell you, its not as bad as it seems. Granted I don't restrict myself on set-up moves or terastilizing, so that will absolutely make a Rock run that much more difficult. I found that Drednaw is the MVP of the run, as it helps with some of the biggest weaknesses Rock has. Eri is a nightmare, though.

24:47 Another strategy for Eri : Use salac berry gholdengo with these moveset: Substitute Rest Nasty plot Dazzling gleam Let the lead Toxicroak carefully hit you with sucker punch and with substitute you can get to eat your salac berry( note your mons are fully healed before star battles so predamaging isn't an option) Next rest to restore hp. Nasty plot to buff and Dazzling gleam to sweep. Gholdengo can only be hit with Sucker punch from Toxicroak and don't worry the AI is dumb it won't switch once pp of sucker punch runs out.

i did a rock nuzlocke! i did it after discovering this was a challenge you and some others did, and i wanted to do a monotype run of my copy of Scarlet which I hadn’t completed yet. There are only 10 eligible encounter but Iron Thorns is exclusive to violet, and two are exclusive to Scarlet, so I chose Scarlet. It was incredibly tough and I won with only three pokemon remaining. Lycanroc, Coalossal, and Stonjourner. I mostly only won because I lucked out and find a Flying tera Rockruff. Everyone else… sadly lost their life somewhere along the way..

What if you do a Nuzlocke where you can only use Kitakami Pokemon in the main game? no Ogerpon, no Trio, no Bloodmoon Ursaluna, it almost goes without saying. also, once you get to Kitakami you can only use the Pokemon there that aren't found in Paldea. You would only be able to get a new Kitakami encounter after every boss, capping at 18 encounters, and your first Kitakami encounter would have to be in the area immediately before town.

thinking about the cruel forretress set I used a bug type violet nuzlocke. It used: Curse Gyro Ball Body Press Protect An almost impenetrable physical wall, it stalled you out while boosting both its sources of damage with one boosting move and holding leftovers. It was glorious. All this to say that forretress is really funny and you should have used it more

For Friendship Evos in the Switch games I just use an elastic band on the controller to run in circles, leave the game for a bit and get a level.
