You know, it's legitimately nice to see this kind of playthrough without it being a nuzlocke. Like, I get it, the nuzlocke factor gives the videos more suspense. Hey, just a tip for future randomizers! If you want the rivals to choose from and keep the starter pokemon throughout the game, make sure you click the checkbox that says "Rival carries starter throughout game", otherwise it'll also be randomized
