It's my favourite gen. The game is easy, but there's such a wide variety of encounters, it's fun to play through as different characters. There's a mini game for faster EV training that I really missed in gen seven and eight

Favorite dark type is Houndoom. Also, have two video ideas. A Black and White 2 bug-type only, since there's only 2 videos of it, with the naming convention being Spider-Man villains. The other being a Black and White 2 poison nuzlocke, the only other one was a wipe, with the naming convention being X-men villains.

Obstagoon won my heart rather quickly as a dark type, but my real favorite is actually Zorua, who I finally got to use in a full playthrough in Ultra Sun (it, noibat, and lopunny had never been on my team before that game but became some top tiers for me afterwards). And Anime Olympia is way more epic than In Game Olympia as she is a Double Battle gym.

9:33 Flying Press is a fighting-type move, not a flying-type move. It does additional Flying-type damage, not the other way around. This is generally irrelevant, however there are some applications. For example, if you hit a Grass type with it, a Coba Berry wouldn’t work, but a Chople Berry would, even if the Pokémon isn’t normally weak to Fighting. It also turns Kecleon into a Fighting type, and so on.

But that’s not fair it needs to be balanced. It needs to count as fighting and flying and hit ghosts and the berries to weaken fighting and flying work.

@@yoshpeters3079 yeah no, that’s literally just not how the game functions. Every move has 1 type, regardless of its other mechanics. If it was both types, it: - Would break the in-game graphics. - Wouldn’t work with Protean/Colour Change. - Would calculate STAB incorrectly. - Wouldn’t work if the user is Dynamaxed etc. Pokémon is based around it moves having 1 type, and making technical exceptions would break a lot of things. This is the same reason why Dhelmise doesn’t have 3 types, but instead an ability to simulate it.

Same. Though even in the marvel universe they are father and daughter but there was a point in time that loki and hela were non blood related best friends (sweethearts really but almost lovers. Young love is the best way to describe it. But older loki yanked the dinner cloth off of younger loki table and took the food along with it) after that though loki has referred to hela as his daughter.

I'm very confused, i didn't understand why you went with Skuntank Flamethrower in Ramos battle instead of Poison Jab when you had the TM, Skuntank has higher attack than sp attack and you get stab from it. Otherwise, great video as always

Krookodile is such an amazing Pokémon 117 attack is great especially if you get some moxie boost going… 92 speed is kinda average and low for a sweeper but that’s ok cuz there’s always choice scarf or use a teammate to set up tailwind…. Now let’s talk movepool: dual stab is sooooo good cuz even when steel resisted dark ground hits steel for super effective… and dark can hit most things for neutral…. It also got close combat to deal with opposing dark types and has rock coverage for flying types…

Battle Girl Hedvig ended my dark run twice. And has also ended my fighting run, which was stupid because I had a Hawlucha and I thought hers was lv 23. So I went in with mine at Lv 24 (jolly nature) and still got outsped OHKO'd by flying press. BIG RIP.

Fun fact about the descriptions in your natures, but they tell you which stat is also getting the highest IV's. "Taking plenty of siestas" is a great Health IV indicator. You're getting 15-28 IV's in health. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Oh yes the game that introduced walking trainers. Making some of them more difficult to avoid. But usually it's pretty quite easy. Greninja is absolutely broken against E4 with Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Surf and Water Shuriken for most battles. That darn poodle Furfrou early on, i hate that puzzle.

I can say from personal experience trying to solo viola with a froakie is a lot harder than you'd think, especially without super training. I was doing a ghost mono run so I picked froakie until I got a ghost bc it was the closest thematically. Yeah I really should've just gone with fennekin but whatever. Just trying to zoom past her and the pregame so I could get honedge, I retried this fight more then once, so I feel your pain there

I've played XY with single type nuzlocke challenges MULTIPLE times and let me tell you, Battle Girl Hedvig is the bane of my existence. I'm pretty sure her combination of Throh and Hawlucha is the single hardest battle in the whole game and yes I'm saying that because I lost to her multiple times. My mortal enemy
