Fairy is the newest pokemon type. And even though they are a decade old at this point, it still feels like a new pokemon feature to me. So I wanted to do a hardcore nuzlocke using only fairies, just to shine some light on how awesome this cute little guys can be.

I’m totally with you on sylveon and gardevoir. Primarina I’ve never actually used, but I’m not a huge fan. Not sure why. Maybe it’s just me being biased

The O-Power guys are creepy. They want to teach you how to use your O-Power, but he mainly wants to meet you in hotel rooms and you need to "fade to black" to learn how to use your O-Power. The "Young Couples" with Cloyster and Onyx are suggestive in a funny kind of "hidden joke for everybody old enough to know without ruining it for the kids" kinda way. But jeez, O-Power guy needs the police to search his house. Yikes.

I lol'ed way harder than I probably should have when you called Clemont a "Doc Ock wannabe." I suppose Heliolisk was their attempt at giving him the power of the Sun in the palm of his hand. And my favorite Fairy-types are Azumarill, who was the MVP of my Scarlet playthrough, and then a Dedenne I had in my first X run, who was also named Cosmo!

Thanks! I certainly do calculations for major battles (most of the time), so I don’t want to give the impression that I don’t. But sometimes, I’m confident enough that I don’t need to. Also, the flying nuzkocke was my very first video!

My favourite fairies are probably either the Hatterene line or the Grimmsnarl line. It's nice that the fairy type can have a witch that will murder people if they're too emotional and a horrible gremlin respectively so it's not just cute critters.

RAAAAA!!! My favorite two typings are grass and FAIRYYYY! I also love the nickname theme this time around. My favorite being Mansherry because A. I love Florges, and B. I am a huge one piece head and I love how it’s a yellow Florges which matches her hair. I will say, the team you used threw me off, especially the Carbink, because of the amount of fairy types but hey, what are you gonna do, it’s a nuzlocke after all-. Another video. My first shiny was a nosepass in X so honestly loved this video a lot!

Most of my Pokémon exposure beyond gen 3 did not injure the anime, so I jut kinda made up how to say the names. And in some cases, have been doing so for years! Someone actually just pointed out that I’ve been saying marrowok instead of marrowak. It’s been more than 20 years, and I never realized how it’s spelt! Anyway, appreciate your contributions, as always. And good job getting the One Piece reference, I really need to get back into it.

My favorite fairy types are the new gen 9 Fidough and Dachsbun. I love that they're cute dog/dough/bread combinations with great defense, decent attack and special attack, good movepool with the elemental fangs included and a great ability.

I used fidough in my first nuzlocke of scarlet, and didn’t actually realize it’s name was supposed to be a combo of fido and dough. Pronounced it way wrong lol

So far my only favorite fairy types are Gardevoir and Alolan Ninetales. I'm on the fence about Gardevoir's now dual typing though cause she literally trades 1 or 2 weaknesses for 2 others, but immunity to dragon is nice I guess

Yeah, I'm just trying to remember if fairy resists ghost or bug types. I got Ultra Moon on the same day Sword and Shield released, I was not able to play X and Y or the remakes on the 3DS. So Sword and Shield were literally my introduction to dealing with fairy types even though I know now that X and Y introduced it. Certainly glad I wasn't running a nuzlocke when I got my Noivern killed in the fairy gym 🤣. Lost contact with my Pokemon fan friends a long time ago, otherwise I would've known that was a bad idea. It was fun figuring out about the fairy type on my own without internet spoilers, still don't understand why fire kinda walls fairy, but ok

Well you could have gotten an Ralts if you had catched Flabebe on route 7 and then went back to route 4. Of course then you wouldn't have gotten an Swirlix, but I would have gotten an potential Guardevoir over it any day.

I did not use it, but not by choice. I 100% would have used Sylveon if I got one. I chose it because IMO, Sylveon is THE fairy type pokemon in gen 6, so it made the most sense.
