*SHINY GALARIAN BIRD GLITCH & NIANTIC CANT GET IT RIGHT* Why is every event busted in Pokemon GO

As someone that uses the daily incense nearly everyday with the hopes of catching a shiny Galarian bird, this glitch really bothers me. I can’t imagine the pain of finally getting a shiny Galar bird, only to have this glitch keep you from catching it…

You can catch just don't mess around with ar or backing out to click it again to make the shiny sparkles again.

It did me like that yesterday . 2 articunos fled before i throw the pokemon, the screen says error pokemon cannot be found, then it repears. And does the same thing ..

I’m the person who encountered the Galarian bird then it glitched. My jaw just dropped when that glitch happened. I hope they fix these issues soon.

Dude their support is garbage. Been fight for two weeks to get my account back from it being “compromised” because their game “is very secure”. They tell me it’s me forgetting my password and nothing ever gets hacked… then how the hell is the email different when I look up the email tied to the Trainer Name?… anyways long story short not sure how I failed the 2 exams they gave me with multiple screenshots of it being my account with receipts to back it up and of course they declined to assist me further and to check with my provider then closed the ticket. Thousands of dollars gone just like that to some punk.

It’s all about where you use it. We have a place called the indigenous trail. I get a bird spawn about every other day there.

I used one of my masterballs on a galarian articuno...The pokemon cannot be found error popped up..ereased my masterball and no articuno...Niantic was kind enough to give back the masterball and sent me a shiny galarian articuno!!

Pokeak I miss your gbl content. I know the game is broken but it’s the main reason I still play. The wild spawns have been boring and all the new mons are either raids or eggs. I only play gbl for like 1 or 2 sets for the day. I’m struggling to keep the motivation.

I just had the worst experience in my 9 years of playing Pokemon Go. I was using my daily incense and a Galarian Zapdos appeared. I had my auto-catcher on and it locked onto it. I quickly clicked it to catch it regularly, and it turned out to be shiny. I tried to use a silver berry, since they should not be able to flee and I had 300 different Pokeballs to waste. The game said "error" and would not let me use a berry. I then decided to just throw an ultra ball, but the Zapdos jumped out and fled after the first ball... I contacted Niantic and explained that the shiny form should not flee like the normal version, but they told me that even the shiny form can flee and that the game worked as intended. I think the auto-catcher already predetermined it would run and the game did not like that I tried to manually catch it afterwards. Has anyone else had a shiny bird run after the first attempt?

I did 6 palkia RAIDS Yesterday. every single one caught was 1 candy, no stardust. It was all mega evolved bonus and silver pinap, I think thats usually 9 palkia candies. instead of 56, i got 6 candies instead. I sent Niantic screenshots of it, along with the dang journal. And they said "there was no issue found".

The other day I was in go battle league leading with a Thunderus vs a leading Gyarados and the battle just suddenly didn't happen as if the other guy lost connection, which obviously wasn't the case...

That glitch with the galarian birds happens when you click on AR mode. It happened to me. Don't hit ar mode then off to bring the bird down to normal level Just wait for the bird to come back down

Niantic makes plenty of mistakes, but when they make up for them you usually give them credit for fixing them. They sold a $.99 ticket for $1.99. People had the choice to buy it or not at the higher price. It's not like Niantic said it was .99 and then charged you $1.99 at checkout. Then when Niantic fixed their mistake (or decided to not YET raise the price of tickets to $1.99) they gave the people who paid $1.99 more than they'd agreed to accept for the price. Good job Niantic.

maybe the employees are not competent? maybe the supervisors don't keep them accountable? Maybe no one supervises the supervisors. They obviously have no testing process or change management process to validate changes, making sure they are working in production as expected. I was watching this and read a comment about someone encountering the glitch and submitting a support ticket, and getting another masterball and a shiny from Niantic. Not 45 minutes after that, I was running my incense and both my gf and I encountered Galarian Articuno. She lost hers but I’ve been waiting months to use my masterball. Sure enough, I already knew it was gonna be a bust and I called it. My gf and I watched my masterball throw freeze, then the encounter ended and it said “Pokémon cannot be found.” Masterball was gone, Articuno gone. I was laughing because it was like I knew it was gonna happen. Couple hours later, I’m pretty upset. I’ve sent two tickets to Niantic, hopefully they’ll give me my ball back and a bird to boot. But so much for my first Galarian catch with the masterball, only the one thing I’ve been waiting for to happen and it was a bummer.
