Thank you for the opening. I’m not a fan of the mystery box concept but I you give a review of what to expect. That last box is brutal. I would not buy that. I’m glad you you pulled a gold from PokeRev but I was shocked that the electrode was only worth $15.

I recently got back into Pokémon this year. I ripped an embarrassing amount of scarlet and violet base set because I liked the drowzee illustration rare. I got a couple of those now but didn’t realize til hundreds of packs later that it’s not a good set to really invest into like that 🤣 ah well.

Honestly, it just feels like unless there is a face behind a company product (aka pokerev pack for ex.) They just do what ever and people buying their stuff still supports them sadly. I bought a pokerev pack and honestly I got a green pack but I loved the variety of packs I got so he's a dub to me

i feel like if i was gonna do mystery boxes there is a what not streamer i seen who does mystery slabs. its like 100 or so a buy in and he picks like 50 cards out and 1-3 are profit. If you buy i think its 2-3 though and hit all duds you can trade them in for insurance which is like a 100$ slab in itself. Now if hes honest which he seems to be imo its a decent business model and people dont just get outright screwed like in these. Personally though Id never buy a mystery box as your gonna lose 90% of the time and id rather spend a bit extra getting what i want but i do get why people do it. If people see you can get moonbreon for 1-200 thats nway easier on the bank than a raw 1400 one

PSA is not the best from a material standpoint, CGC slabs are better. People just love to stroke PSA. Beckett is the best.

I use to like Iconic Mystery box but not really anymore. I've seen a lot of openings and if they are putting $10 slabs... in the boxes and giving standard packs, you would think with that much margin, they wild put more vintage packs or better packs. I mean they can even add Evolving Skies at least but PoGo? Ouch! Even in their Charizard mystery boxes, I've seen someone open up 10 and majority of their slabs were at most $35 worth. Maybe an $80 slab but those went for $180. It's MJ Holding but just upgraded. Not worth the price. At least PokeRev has tiers and occasionally you'll get a red or Silver. Expecting Gold isn't much of a thing but at least you'll get some value in those so it's why I don't mind PokeRev packs but Iconic Mystery Boxes are no longer quality for me. I did purchase a PokePower Master Ball 1st Edition box but waiting to get more PokeRev Packs and perhaps others to do a video exactly like this so I'll let you know when I do and maybe check out the video but I'm guaranteed a 1st Edition Vintage pack out of the PokePower 1st Edition Master Ball box. Should be fun but I don't wanna say what I think what Vintage pack it would be.
