Eevee would my fave but I think I'm gonna get a Cubone one for mum, when I was a kid watching the show mum always said Cubone was super cute and she was so chuffed when she got one on pokemon go, super cool!

So there is a series 2? I did wonder if they just slapped 'Series 1' on the back of the box not knowing if series 2 would even make it past the prototype stage.

Some of the French names are... something else. For example, Grimer is Tadmorv (tas de morve) and Muk is Grotadmorv (gros tas de morve) which mean "pile of snot" and "big pile of snot". I'm glad they used the English names in the anime when I was a kid... I didn't expect to see Cubone in this series, which is probably why it's my favorite. I'm surprised we didn't get one of the starters, Charizard or even Mew. Another quick French Pokémon name lesson for the road: Cubone / Osselait combines "ossicle" (osselet) and "milk" (lait). The "let" syllable, in this context, is pronounced the same as "lait" so its name is just ossicle spelt differently.
