The idea that Penny, this child with weird hair, is standing next to a mob boss, a young cult leader (who looks like Rick from Rick and Morty), a more monstrous cult leader+terrorist leader, president and chairman (not very evil but dangerously foolish), and someone so pessimistic he’s willing to destroy the Earth just to murder all humans.

I have to say I think the main villain of SV is actually Sada/Turo rather than Penny. Yes, the actual professors are dead during the events of SV, but their actions are the main threat to Paldea, what Penny is doing is almost harmless

Man, I feel like Rose had A LOT more potential, as did Sword and Shield. Rose is a decent "villian", but I feel he could have had a bit more backstory (in-game). I may be biased because I grew up playing Black and White, and X and Y, lol. I do kinda miss the whole "scary villian" thing for Pokémon. Something I'd like to mention personally though is that the Operation Starfall storyline really hit home as a now-college sophmore, as a victim of bullying through elementary, middle and some high school, but that's aside the point lol.

It's curious how Gen 7 marked the change of what notivates these teams and a surprise villain team. Don't get me wrong, it worked wonders with Team Star, specially because I think bullying is very relatable for many people, but I wish they don't give up later on with fully evil teams further down the line.

@@neosolitudexevermore4895 Another suggestion for the AI's theme: "Zero Hour". -It still references time, but not specifically the past or future, meaning it can be consistent between versions. -References Area Zero. -The phrase Zero Hour refers to the start of a planned operation(usually, but not necessarily, a military operation), and the AI's efforts to have the time machine shut down were planned out well in advance. Also, the Paradise Protection Protocol has two themes, one for before you bring out your bike lizard and one one the battle properly starts, which is what I assume you were going for. For PPP phase one, I'd suggest "Guardian of Paradise", the title given to the aggressive bike lizard, "Last Line of Defense", since that's literally what the PPP is, or simply "Paradise Protection Protocol"(After all, the protocol doesn't really need to be fancy.)

At least with the games I’ve played so far, Penny somehow has the most intense one, despite seeming like the least threatening lol. I had a feeling she was the boss from when she first appeared at the raid. I had it ingrained in my head, and I knew it was her as I was heading towards her fight. I was so confident, then Clavell goes and says he’s Cassiopeia, which felt like a brick was thrown at my face. It was physically impossible for him to be since he was by my side when Penny would call, but I still believed him. Then he goes and admits that he lied, then I went back to knowing Penny was Cassiopeia lol

Well they arent Team leaders, more of a final boss, I didnt put them in it cuz I did not consider them as traditional villains of pokemon. Team star falls more under the definition where ai sada/turo would be considered not in organized crime, they are not a full Team but one person, I see them more like Zinnia.
