It's been a while since I made a remix. This is one of my favorite themes from the Pokemon series! Thank you for your patience :)
Still got plenty of commissioned songs on the way, so hang tight for those if you are interested. I've got to try and get all the commissions done before my trip in mid June, but I'm hoping to have one more remix done for you guys before I go. I'll only be gone for a week.

Since we know humans can have Pokémon powers (Psychics, Aura Guardians, humans being Pokémon thousands of years ago, to name a few) Iris could actually have Fairy type power at her own disposal, even if all her Pokémon are Dragon types. I was just thinking about this song! I was thinking about how different of a feel it gives from a lot of the other champions and that it seems to tell a different story. I really love what you've done with the theme though! You made it a lot more "epic" and gave it a sense of high intensity while maintaining the playfulness that was so distinctive in the original

My first introduction to pokemom ever was at my older brothers graduation party. I was 7 at the time, and his friends came over early and were playing black/white 2 (dont know which one) but I was watching them play, and they had just gotten to the champion. So Iris as a whole is kinda nostalgic for me, since she was my introduction to pokemon, which is now my favorite game series of all time

idk I was nine when I beat Cynthia, now I am 18. Tbh idk how I did it, just beat pearl when it came out tanking with my Empoleon. Iris was kinda hard for me to but I beat her in high 50´s early 60´s when I was under-leveled. I still like Iris but Cynthia more, so. She is my OG champion in my first game and is the best classic in my opinion. Plus she makes for a pretty good waifu

Arcanine, while being weak to EQ, has access to Intimidate and Outrage, Steelix is weak to EQ, but has strong Defense, Weavile, Vanilluxe, Bronzong (Levitate), Metagross (if you want to just gun em down), Walrein, Dewgong (if you're that desperate), but in general Blizzard (Lacunosa), Ice Beam (Giant Chasm), & Ice Punch (Driftveil Tutor) are all available at this point,

I already watched the episode where Iris battles Cynthia at the masters 8. Iris did put up a good fight with Cynthia. This battle shows how much Iris has grown on her own while Ash was away. Originally, I didn't like her back in Black and White. I don't hate her now. I like her as the Champion. I feel like the writers did poorly on most of the characters and the story for the Black and White anime making it the worst series. Iris reminds me of Finn Jones from Iron Fist. A lot of people were hating on Finn Jones because his Kung Fu choreography and portrayal of Danny Rand was done poorly. People hated Iron Fist calling it the worst of the Defendersverse Saga. When they made Iron Fist season 2, they hired a better writer and improved Finn's Kung Fu Choreography. Season 2 gave many characters their own redeeming qualities like Danny, Colleen, and Ward. I saw how a lot of people were hating on Iris because of her bratty portrayal. Later, when she all of a sudden became the Champion of Unova. I think this is where she got her redemption. So Iris story in journeys feels like Iron Fist season 2. I personally think Iris is more adorable as the Pokemon Champion with better qualities with a childlike but still a strong fighter.

It just felt so sudden that they just made Iris Champion while Ash was away for all this time. After all those years. She just shot up to being the Champion. Starting out as bratty in Black and White. Her character was written poorly in Black and White. There was no buildup for Iris to work towards being a champion. She just wanted to be a dragon trainer. Though her Dragonite just kept disobeying her making her look inexperienced. But she became better in Journeys.
