Yeah, I was blown away upon reexamining some of the tracks from BW. This theme's built almost entirely on dissonant intervals and N's theme uses this blistering prime number progression, lots of really cool stuff going on in this soundtrack.

Ghetsis' theme was unnerving to me, and still is to this day. Really, the only thing keeping chills from running up and down my spine was the burning hatred I found myself with after how he "berated" his foster son!

Fits the moment flawlessly. It's a suitably apocalyptic theme for a nearly-apocalyptic battle. Of all the main villains, Ghetsis was RIGHT THERE. If you had lost, he would have been poised to completely fuck the world. Everything would have been his.

I really love the feel that the tower bell gives it, as well as the harp. Makes it sound sinister, but churchy. It's like I'm having a battle with Frollo from The Hunchback of Notredam.

Yeah. Ghetsis is pretty much the Pokemon version of the Devil, if only in terms of his pure evil. Hell, his use of N even parallels the pop-culture depiction of the Antichrist (not the Biblical one, though; IIRC, the Antichrist in the Bible is just a glorified propaganda guy for Hell). Probably not intentional on GameFreak's part, but interesting anyway. I'm a huge religious studies nerd, even though I'm not particularly religious myself. Blame my theologian dad.

@kommunikator60 oh yeah. I bought both Symphonic Orchestra Gold and Symphonic Choirs as a bundle for a lower price, but yeah, it's a good 600$ if you buy them both normally. Orchestra Silver Edition is good too, and it's less than 150$ in some websites. Not as many instruments as Gold, but it has the necessary ones.
