If you pay close attention, you notice that there are no beats at certain times. I think that's where the fire/thunder effects in the reshiram/zekrom theme come in, and in a way it represents what kyurem is. Just a husk of what once was the original dragon

At about 1:19 on Zekrom and Reshiram's theme, it diverges. Zekrom has lightning bolts and electricity as sound effects. Reshiram has flame bursts and fire instead.

if yall dont get it zekrom and reshiram were once one pokemon and two twins were its owner but one stood for truths and the other for ideals and so did the twins so reshiram and zekrom split into 3 kyurem being the left over shell (which is why it can fuse with zekrom or reshiram) anyways so the twins went to war and when it ended reshiram being the light ball and zekrom being the dark ball reshiram was the one standing for truth and zekrom for ideals which is why i put *T R I G G E R E D* for reshiram, because reshiram was the one fighting ideals

Kyurem is based on the philosophy of wuji, as the other two dragons are based on yin and yang. They are the Energy Dragon Trio, Reshiram and Zekrom representing energy in two forms, while Kyurem represents lack of energy. There is no cold. Cold is just lack of heat energy. Heat can come from electricity too.

@SegaMaster172 Actually, that makes perfect sense. Reshiram is part Fire type and Zekrom is part Electric type. Fire and electricity are both forms of ENERGY. Kyurem is part Ice type. Ice is the LACK of energy. You could say that the original dragon's energy split into 2 and became Reshiram and Zekrom, and its body that was devoid of energy became Kyurem.

This is honestly my favorite legendary for some odd reason. I got a jolly on in the game and I affectionately refer to him as a silly rubber ice chicken. I also kind of felt sorry that he was locked away in the ice place despite all the years that passed by of him supposedly eating people (which I'm not sure if I believe considering that he's void of good and bad)

For some reason I can see Kyurem bopping it's head to this track. On a serious note though ('Cause video games are serious business!), I dig how mysterious Kyurem is in these games. The area you find him in resembles a crater, and outer space-themed items litter the ground. Rather alien pokemon attack you there as well, like Metang, Calydol, and the Clefairy line (which the show teased that they came from the moon). I'm interested in what B&W 2 reveal about it.

It actually works. Kyurem is the empty shell left from Zekrom and Reshiram splitting, so the bass in the tune resembles the fact that Kyurem is the 'base' of the original dragon. Eh? Base? Bass? It works.

I just learned today that there are two unobtainable moves at Pokemon B/W, Freeze Bolt(charges on the first turn, attacks on the second turn, deals 140 physical damage, 5 PP, 90% accuracy, has a 30%chance of paralysis) and Cold Flare(same with Freeze Bolt, but deals special damage, and has a 30% of burn instead) ...these two very powerful ice moves must be related to Kyurem! KYUREM's gonna have two new(and hopefully much more badass and powerful) forms on pokemon grey.... anyone agree?

12 years later and this is the first that I learned of this! This makes it seem like “Pokemon Gray” was never actually planned at all, and it was always gonna be two games, though I suppose it’s possible they initially had plans to have both Kyurem Black and Kyurem White be obtainable in Gray, and then decided to split it into BW2 somewhere down the line!

@@DileDude92 yeah I feel old as well lmao. I was only 3 years old when BW released. I’ll be 18 in 13 months which to me sounds crazy. I’m also craving for Legends Kyurem, but I fear what they’re gonna do with the actual Gen5 remakes. They messed up the expectations bad in Gen4 remakes, but atleast Arceus made up for it. But it’s best to keep being optimistic lol. Gen5 anime is what got me into Pokemon as a child, but my first game was X, never got to play BW but I really want to. Hopefully 2024 will be the year.

Did you know that Kyurem used to feed on the humans in Kagome town? Hence why there is a huge wall on the North of Kagome town, to cut them from the Giant Hole, where Kyurem resides. Supposedly, there was a meteorite containing Kyurem that crashed near Kagome town, hence creating the Giant Hole. This could also explain why Kyurem's right side is broken.

@Mickothebest They were one before. According to Isshu legend, two brothers had a dragon and created the Isshu region with it. But the two started a quarrel and the dragon split into two. Reshiram sided with the older one and Zekrom sided with the younger one. Eventually, the brothers reconciled, but Reshiram and Zekrom continued fighting. The brothers decided to seal them off at separate locations so they may never meet each other again.

Kyurem is the corpse of the Dragon Pokemon used by two brothers. They used the dragon to rule over the Unova region. But they wanted to control the region in different ways, so they started fighting. Soon the dragon split into two (probably three). Reshiram teamed with the older brother, and Zekrom with the younger brother. It had been foreseen that they would fight until the region Unova was destroyed, so the people of Unova put them to sleep.

@EmpoleMew See, those alternate forms are affected by items that are automaticly removed before connecting with the other versions(Griseous Orb, Gracedia Flower in Platinum). A whole new Pokemon would just ruin any and all connectivity. Try this for example. Arceus is mentioned to have been hatched from an egg in chaos, but did we ever get an egg with Arceus in it? Nope.

It is stated in-game that Kyurem eats human and pokemon. The reason why some think its a zombie is because of the theory that Kyurem is the left-over body of the original dragon before Reshiram and Zekrom split-up.

Kyurem is the "middle" of the Tao Trio Dragons. Gray is the "middle" of Black and White. Pokemon Gray Version with Kyurem as the mascot. It make so much sense.
