I believe that Game Freak isn't making FUN of creationists and PETA or anything, but just making an analog of their anti-pokemon beliefs IN the world where such an 'evil' thing is ordinary life. But it may be not only an analog, but a wake-up call to any PETA members willing to listen... it is showing the analog as being incredibly closed minded, (remember the grunt who said "We are in the right... We will do anything to reach our goal"), and not realizing that one of the guys in power is just using the group for a selfish gain-more-power scheme. This (at least the closed-minded part) is no exaggeration of real life. Game Freak isn't making fun of PETA, it is challenging them to look at themselves from a new perspective, and realize how often they quote those grunts from pinwheel forest. They just may be right, but they need to realize how bad the look on the headlines.

And I forgot to mention that team plasma from BW2 is important too, it is part of an actually possible future for PETA, where in their one-sided battle for animal rights, they go rogue (since lobbying and stuff isn't going fast enough) and cause more damage saving pets from innocent owners than doing anything productive that will help change people's minds.

Connor Brown Galactic planned to kill everyone in the world but themselves by making an entirely new planet to replace the current one. In Platinum, Cyrus secretly planned to also kill off his own Team so he could have the new world he planned to make all to himself. So Galactic is the most genocidal team. I personally didn't like Team Flare for being too similar to Team Galactic in that respect and how Lysandre was almost idiotically blind in his goals. Everyone who joins Team Flare is automatically deemed a "good guy" and won't die? That'll only cause the corrupt to take wind of that and join. Cyrus saw through that and that's why his intentions in Platinum were in place.

Connor Brown Lysandre was just misunderstood, much like Maxie and Archie were, only unlike those two, Lysandre was too far gone to turn back. He had good intentions, but was pushed to extremes to achieve what he thought was ideal for everyone. I'd appreciate Lysandre as an antagonist and as an overall character more if we actually /saw/ the growing corrupt and unreasonable people he claimed were plaguing the world, but everyone in the region seems at least decent at best. Even the thugs are either friendly rebels or kinda misunderstood delinquents. The only people who seem "evil" themselves are those he let join Team Flare, and they're the only ones committing crimes in the game in the first place.

MattTheHuman ORAS was incomplete. It still needed so much work. And this time it has to be ported to pc,Xbone, Ps4 and atari 2600. Imagine playing pokemon oras in full screen not a small screen. And in a battle, the background is just a wallpaper, but a live background would be better. And in a horde battle the pokemon are crystal clear. And where you battle kyogre or groudon, your character looks so 3d. I would like it if my character looked like that, not just for the event. Also they have to make mega flygon.

Dictator gamer The thing is there's no point to remake it a year after it came out, because as for now Pokemon will only be on Nintendo handhelds and the 3DS is still the handheld that is being used so it would be pretty pointless to remake a remake on the same system it was remade on. I do agree with you on ORAS being incomplete, I felt like it was pretty rushed and it probablky would have been better if it released in early 2015 with Pokemon Z coming out next year.

I feel that Team Plasma's intentions actually make sense.... if the Pokemon world made sense. Seriously, I understand that in the Pokemon world humans and Pokemon are happy living alongside each other by battling with their pokemon but in a real life that would be considered torture for the animals. That's just my opinion though.

That's why I feel that Black and White had the best story. They really tackle the whole thing in a way that makes sense and produced one of the most interesting anti-heroes ever, "N". Plus the plot twist at the end really worked to show just how manipulatitive an organization can be, as well as N holding on to his beliefs despite that. The second game was a bit weaker, but the fact that they at least had the old team Plasma trying to redeem themselves showed that it takes time to mend wounds, but even the most wicked can become good when they realize where they went wrong while the other members continued to support Ghetsis to show that some members are genuinely selfish and evil because it's human nature. It was more about the humans than the pokemon really, which I felt was an aspect the games never challenged before but did an amazing job with.

X/Y's Team Flare Theme actually was Very Decent, Now the Teams Motives and plot was very much Meh, the thing was actually quite decent though i agree it has nothing on the Regular Team plasma theme.
