Honestly, this kind of setup has been incredibly enjoyable to watch. I've watched quite a bit of pokemon content over the years and it grows bothersome when they take the time to show every, little, thing in a game that came out years ago and was played to death by just about anyone who will be watching their content. So having this condensed down, a highlight reel that's actually still a watchable episode, that shows all the important stuff, without the unnecessary faffing about is great.

In a Nuzlocke, you can't catch more than one Pokémon per area. It's one of the 3 fundemental rules of a Nuzlocke. You caught both a Machop and a Magikarp in the same area, then you got both a Snorlax and Volcarona in the same area.

just so people know, to avoid being trapped, you cant release a pokemon with an hm (like cut) they can not be released. no matter what, it will "always come back" and due to scykoh using the rule "if it comes back, its still alive" no matter what (because you have cut) you will win...
