“So you do care about your Pokemon after all” Really sums up this episode. A key turning point in Blue’s life and how he sees the world around him. Using this series to show a bit of Silver’s backstory was a nice touch. Makes sense, anywhere Team Rocket went, he was there. Between the slaughtering of Marowaks for their skulls and cutting the tails off of slowpoke. Both gave me jitters. Amazing work as always.

I liked the dreary colors used for the majority of the episode. It really matched the colour platet of the original Lavender Town. We even see more of Blue's mental state and how the constant loses are beginning to affect him. I really enjoy this spin off

This episode really came with a perfect timing, since it expands on Silver's backstory while in the Gold series he's in the middle of his redemption arc. A fittingly melancholy episode (save of course for the joke at the end. We indeed don't talk about the 4th Gym.^^ I bet the memories are awkward for both Blue and Red, though for different reasons.^^). I like how this series gives more depth to Blue's character.

I love this! I love the animation style and I love how we got to see Blue get the GameLink Cable, makes a lot more sense on how they traded later on in the story (Graveler for Kadabra and back). This was a good growing episode for Blue and I can’t wait to see how it went in Erica’s Gym! Thank you for making this as great as it was Pedro!

It was an incredible series, seeing everything from Blue's perspective and seeing that in reality he had much more relevance with the Rokect team. It seems spectacular to me... the best art is coming soon... Shilp's. Hopefully when you finish the second generation you do the same as with silver.

Like another commenter said, I also forgot this series isn't just the counterpart to Red's story but is being told from the perspective from Blue but as a Pokemon Professor guiding the next generation of trainers (with the wink/nod to Paldea). What a great & creative narrative twist! I had to rewatch episode 1 to remind myself of that! Please keep reminding us occasionally Pedro that we're listening to Professor Blue like you did with this episode :) It was also great to see some character development from Blue in his younger years not always be snarky but actually be relatable to the audience in the scene where for a moment we see Blue's deep care for Pokemon as he's mourning the loss of raticate & also feeling like he's in the shadow of his family name with his dad being a former Kanto Champion & older sister creating the map used in the dex to further the impact the Kanto regional dex has on young trainer's live being an indispensable tool. Great storytelling as always!

Man, what an emotional and haunting episode, the theme of death present all throughout as Blue deals with the fallout of it and truly beginning to understand what it means to care, the Lavender Massacre triggering him to where he would not stand idle as this sort of thing happened intentionally. And then that mood whiplash at the end! It's gonna be fun to see what happened at Celadon! XD

WoW OMG!!! This was a fantastic episode. Very gruesome but effective. It really nails how brutal Team Rocket were towards Pokémon. That poor Marowak mother, she did not deserve this. Baby Cubone will forever have to live with that image. I wonder just how vengeful the Ghost can really be? Could it kill Team Rocket members for their crimes? I always wondered what that frightening apparition could do when ticked off. "Get Out or I will ki.... you!" Can't wait for the conclusion to this specific part of the adventure.
